Title: A good friend passed

A good friend passed away Dec 15 his call sign was Mountain Man, he only played AH for a short time before getting bone cancer and couldn't fly any more. Some of the old FA guys may remember him from back in the days. I don't like losing friends even the ones I only heard on TS or vox and saw in a digital plane on my wing. God bless all the ones we all have lost this year.  :salute

Was wondering if it was the one who flew the F4U's with Saber. Those two were a deadly combination.

From the OP, I do not think this is the mountain man who has been playing AH for many years. In any case, still sad news.

I flew with and against Mountain Man in FA for years. I always saw him in the Advanced TC rooms. He always was friendly, and fought fair. SALUTE to Mountain Man and condolences to his family and friends.

I believe this is not mtnman who has flown F4-U's in AH for years and been a trainer but another mountain man from FA.  Nonetheless it's always sad to see another flight sim comrad auger.   :salute
