In your desktop setting you can change how it displays across screens. With only two screens you would have a "seam" right down the middle of you view. so I t really wouldn't work out well.

That's no wonder, triple-screen setup and SLI that doesn't work with AH.

it worked for me for several years.  only reason I replaced my 3 screen set up is I need a bigger monitor as my eyesight is not as good as it used to be.

I have zero issues running AH triple screen with full details on.  I also have an SLI setup, but that's to improve some other games I play (e.g. ARMA) rather than AH.

There is no SLI profile for AH so it doesn't work. I wasn't referring to triple screen but the SLI.

There are Aces High profiles for SLI and Crossfire support.  They just are not done very well at all.  We have no control over that.  It seems you have to be a triple A game title before you get good multi-card support.

Your cards are 4 years old already anyway and with a faulty SLI profile it was completely believable to have performance problems.

I run 2048 texture size all eye canyon turned on except updates and max shadows...and I still run a solid 58-60 fps in furballs. So I don't think I am doing too bad.

As long as your stick works properly I don't think it makes any difference what gear you use.

you are correct mrripley, lawndart owes you an apology.  I apologize to you for pointed out to you how wrong you were when you mentioned that there was no sli profile for ah.

I also apologize for bringing up the fact that I ran 3 monitors on 2 evga 465's with a faulty sli profile while having shadows at 4096. and everything maxed out except for em.  I am ashamed to say that I didnt have no performance issues.

I am sorry you only spent 1/2 the money to have the same performance.  on the other hand you dont really know how much money we spent.  for all I know the monitor you own cost more than what we spend on ours.

Just because I am roughing it out here in the wilderness near Ontario doesn't mean I can not be comfortable! That is all genuine Canadian wood! I part time as a lumberjack when I am not trading in beaver skin. Take note of my tenacious Canadian wolf hound standing guard! :old:

Wolf hound you say!        I thought it was a run of the mill sled dog and paid no notice as they are as common as maple trees and beaver ponds in these parts!

Part time lumber jack....   then you're not entitled to sing the national anthem!

Guncrasher did. Anyway this discussion is getting stale. I really don't care if you spend your money in ways that give you little in return. Your prerogative.

I needed to sli because i was gonna used 3 screens and at the time the only way to do it was with 2 cards.  so I did it for the benefit of having 3 screens and it was worth it to me.  I got a great return on my investment.  specially when the second card only cost me 120 bucks or so.

and btw the reason I mentioned sli is because you explicity said that there wasnt an sli profile for AH.

Don't forget that we know nothing and must bow down to the internationally recognized guru of all things computer and technology. Heck I found out I have a set of cards that's way under par and need to upgrade.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a absolute outrage! Preposterous even!  :rofl

I have to be careful around that creature. He is not domesticated! I wanted him to keep his edge as a tenacious beast of the Canadian wilderness!  :old:

According to benchmarks, triple screen setup is one of the scenarios where SLI makes sense as it scales well to high resolutions.

Boredom and tinkering brought this about. Not done, but a work in progress.
(yes every thing works in AH either through native programming software/Xpadder and a DP board from DesktopAviators)

I bet you were "up" all night...... :devil     That PVC glue is some nasty stuff!

I made something similar but out of wood, I used to be a carpenter, the glue doesnt keep me "up" at all! :noid

    :salute

Didn't use the glue they all fit snug and then i used screws

Well you missed half the fun of building it then! :devil

Using screws is a good idea, since it doesnt hold water no worries about leaks and you can easily change things that if glued would be a real PITA....
