There were different color's of tracer's in WW II. I have ask for this in the past. It would be reeeeaaaaal nice.

Or, it would be helpful to new players if their tracers were a different color that only they see. Add it to the tracers on\off\color. Gunnery in this game takes time and this would help train the eye. After a few years of practice most finally learn how to aim to the point tracers are not really needed. While during the first few days of deciding this game is worth the effort, your own color helping you learn to shoot would be a tiny plus for the game.
From playing another game lately with aircraft, ground vehicles, even guys with jet packs. I can tell you our gunnery makes shooting moving objects in that game something I can do with my eyes closed. That is how hard gunnery in our game really is. Our wing shooting single shot tankers in this game would clean up with the anti-vehical guns in my other game.
Gunnery in this game is a bite and takes a lot of practice.

Pilot's didn't get to choose a custom color tracer in WWII.

ROD has been around typing in all caps for so long in game I did't think anyone who's been around even notices it anymore.

Just because he's been annoying people with it forever doesn't make it any less rude or grating.
Skuzzy once edited the guy's signature saying stop typing in all caps. That wasn't a big enough hint for the guy.
[Most of us notice just long enough to squelch him. It's one of the reasons he never gets any help when he's playing General Squeaker on country channel.]

Maybe Rod has poor eyesight and needs caps to see what he is saying. :headscratch:

You only need your tracers out that only you see to be red to help you with your sight picture. By the time you see the other guy's tracers, it's too late. You aren't supposed to waste your time looking for his tracers. Too many vets these day turn them off and HO from what I've been seeing.

I don't care about the other guy's tracers, I would like to see my tracer's, whether they be red, orange, or green.
But now that I think about, if you are flying with a number friendlies and they are in different planes, it might be confusing. While I still like the idea, it probably is a bad one.(or so I think)
