Maik told me that the RLM 26 color on my 262 could be wrong.
60 years after the war, no one can tell how the correct RLM colors were.
Up to yesterday i thought there were some standards established. But i was wrong.
This was my first try with 'RLM26 brown'. Obviously its very red:

And this is it with RLM26 from another chart. This is defenitely more brownish.

What do you think comes closer to reality? Or at least, what looks better?

I like the bottom one, the top 262 just looks too dark and doesnt blend well with the lighter color, but I guess that doesnt matter though.

second is nice

I agree, the second looks very good.

Wollte dich nicht Aergern ;).
But i think second one looks a bit more natural, WTFG.

Thats right. I used this chart at my second try.
At my first try, i used the following chart:

And the difference is remarkably.

Nice Ecke!!
btw thnks didn't get your email til today been on vacation.

I don't like the second. It looks more ORANGE than brown.
I like that the first one looks more brown, even though red tinted. Overall, I say the second one blends the two colors better (because they are similar shades) however I think you need more work to make it less of an eye-sore and more brown-tinted. :(
EDIT:
Thought I should edit this before I get accused of flaming.
By eyesore I mean it hurts my eyes to see that orange, not that the work is crap. The work is good, but I think the color needs changing. No offense!
