The clipboard is blindingly translucent. Please fix this.

It's suppose to be, so you can't use it to hide the sun. Just flip to a different view while you look at it while heading into the sun.

That's silly. Who told you that?
-
Yeah. I heard that too. Been brought up before. This needs fixing, I can't believe that its like this because hitec wants us to suffer a severe retinal roasting when flying east-west :headscratch:

In the old days it was very easy to shrink down the note book and put it over the sun. It acted like the framework of the cockpit and blocked the sun very well.
Move your head to get frameworks in the way. Or turn your view to look at your map.

it just aids in keeping our game looking like chit.

Maybe real pilots used the clipboard to block the sun. We do have sunvisors in our cars & trucks nowdays...

I agree it's kinda silly the clipboard doesn't block light but it's a very minor issue. Nothing is stopping anyone from flying or looking away from the sun. Alternatively, reposition the plane slightly so a canopy bar blocks the light.

Or, as has been asked for a thousand times, give the option for toggling sunglasses, carried by all aircrew in ww2 :old:

Only if they are stylish and go with my toupee. :D

Man, why are you guys flying straight at the sun anyway? Shouldn't you be ducking and weaving? I almost never look out the front of my plane, unless there is a target there. Flying into the sun doesn't bother me because I am constantly looking forward right, right, back right, upper forward right, upper right, upper back right, and the opposite when I am leaning the other direction.
Lazy players, stop using autoclimb/level/etc. Those are for going AFK!
It's almost as bad as the people who dive in a nice straight line at a field and complain they get ack'ed.
