Beef. I've never had any problems with ya. You do need to grow some skin though. If you want to talk on the open channel alot (as you do. no biggy though) you have to remember that you're using a two way medium and be prepared for replies and the occasional button push. Especially the button is sticking RIGHT out and saying PUSH ME! PLEASE as yours seems to have been today. Well someone will sooner or later. Hide the buttons. I've only squelched one person since the HTC's opening beta test day and that was cause he whined, on the private channel, about being shot down by me. Otherwise I ignore it pretty much or I participate knowing full well words can be conveyed wrong and someone might take something other than the way it was intended., so I try not to say anything too inflammatory.

Beefcake, your post makes me think of a poem, one of my favourites, by Marvin The Paranoid Android, a manically depressed android in Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (a must read for those of you who have n't read it):
A lullaby by Marvin:
Now the world has gone to bed,
Darkness won't engulf my head,
I can see by infra-red,
How I hate the night.
Now I lay me down to sleep,
Try to count electric sheep,
Sweet dream wishes you can keep,
How I hate the night.
And:
"I think you ought to know I'm feeling very depressed."
"Life," said Marvin, "don't talk to me about life."
"Life," said Marvin dolefully, "loathe it or ignore it, you can't like it."

And lastly, to show you that even for the most depressed, life sometimes can be very depresseing but a little bit less than it usually is:
"Maybe," said Marvin with unexpected authority in his lugubrious voice, "it would be better if you monitored them from here. That young girl," he added unexpectedly, "is one of the least benightedly unintelligent life forms it has been my profound lack of pleasure not to be able to avoid meeting."
Needless to say, Marv is my favo dude.

You are taking your life here in cyberspace WAAAAAAYYYYYY to seriously. First of all, it sounds like you have a very low self-esteem and are looking for a way to validate and boast it. Lemme tell ya, this is NOT the place to do it. If you are getting seriously depressed while playing this game (or getting depressed since you feel compelled to play the game).
TALK TO SOMEONE IN PERSON! You are missing out on a whole world outside your door! Go experience it! Then when ya need a break from the exhilaration of life, come back in and enjoy the game for what it is....just a game.
And begin taking things less seriously...I recommend the Stewart Smalley life affirmation vow:

Had a friend once who everytime I said I felt ill, or was depressed or angry said:
