It's time for the 16th Annual Finnish Aces High Spring meeting in Virrat, Finland.

We wish you all very welcome to join Aces High Spring meeting on April 4th to 7th, 2019!

Would be cool if there was a Special event like a Scenario etc held in one of those days as part of the meeting. No ch200, no on time server kill messages- no PMs, just missions and fighting.

Sorry about that. We had two dates to choose from and this one suited most of the folks better. It's about working shifts and the availability of the location. Early booking would sound like an option but since we're priced for their idle season, we're the ones that have to be flexible in case they get a request for something bigger.

Fortunately we can join our forces in the virtual skies!

I知 not sure about turning off box but I know we can come up with a week long scenario for the meet!! No perks, no ai and no third country. Pm me the details and I値l work something out with the team!!

Sounds great, Got to let the finland players know also. Maybe they have some historical idea of their own.

That sounds great! As a former AvA staff member I salute you for taking the time to set up something especially for us. There should be some plane setups suitable for Finnish missions, but unfortunately I've not kept up to date on what maps are currently available to play on. Something on the Eastern Front with Brewsters maybe? :cheers:

I am sorry guys. I won't be able to set up something for you all. Real life is getting in the way . I am fighting with insurance for my insulin and my health is not treating me well. Brooke has a great scenario that will work out well for you .. Again, I do apologise ..

Should you end up visiting Finland on your eventual European travels, tell it on the forums! It was just a few years ago that I learned that one US player had visited the trench museum at my hometown, just a mile from my house! Just imagine how much more he and his son would have experienced about the real life if they had made their trip plans public.

Sounds like a wonderful suggestion. My master's degree will be in museum science (if approved).

Help me out here. I was wondering what the warm dishes on the cloth were. my wife thinks they're tuna helper but I suspect that's a poke at me because I'm the only one under this roof that would eat such. I suspect they are traditional Finnish dishes?

Actually, that sounds pretty good. Then again, I'm over 50, will eat anything but liver (and may ever reconsider that) and I'm hungry.

Venison in this case is Elk for Europeans and Moose for Americans (Alces Alces).

Safely back home after a nice 5 hour drive in bright sunshine. They say we'll be getting up to two feet of fresh snow to start the week with so the timing was perfect!
