Thank you to Lyric1 for finding me the info for this skin.

This Mitchell Mk II was part of 320 Squadron RAF, a Dutch squadron whose personnel fled to Britain following the defeat of Holland in 1940. Initially the squadron employed its ex-Dutch Air Force Fokker T.VIIIs and later a mix of Ansons and Hudsons flying ocean patrol missions as part of Coastal Command. In 1943 it was re-equipped with more modern Mitchell Mk II bombers and transferred first to Bomber Command and then to the 2nd Tactical Air Force. Before and after D Day the squadron supported the Allied armies by attacking enemy coastal defences, troop concentrations and communications as well as hitting V-1 sites.

This aircraft FR 185 flew 67 missions from late 1943 until it was lost near the French town of Dreux on 25th July 1944. In June 1944 it was photographed wearing its full set of D Day recognition stripes.
