Title: C47 supply drops

Is the altitude the same for troops as veh supplies in an air drop?

Online I did a drop that I knew should have been 1k agl for veh supplies yet they did not take.
Offline I tried another set at 2.5k and the cutes did not bloom yet when I tried paras at 1k
the chutes opened and worked fine.

it may just be an animation issue on your end...the supply chutes pop just before they hit the ground.

I hope this is all it is...however the GVs on the ground online are the ones that reported that the supplies did not take.


So is the alt the same for supps as troops?

was there enemy around. They could either take the supplies or shoot the boxes while in the air to stop the friendlies from getting supplies...just a guess. Should be safe to drop at 800 agl though

This would not be the first instance of wanting Vehicle supplies and accidentally choosing field supplies. I have done that a few times.
