I've got the latest update installed. With Oculus open, AH selected using the right hand controller/light sabre, Oculus use for AH (DX11) selected, and the clip board selected, I get both hand controllers to show button options. Everything shows unmapped. I can point and highlight an arena, etc on the clip board but, can't open the selection. I assumed there would be a way to get to Preferences/Control mapping. What am i missing? Thanks in advance.

Try using the mouse for controller mapping.

Try using the mouse for controller mapping.
It appears other VR Oculus users are getting past the clip board. Are they also using the mouse controller? Or, the hand controllers? With the most current update, is it intended for the controllers to select and enter on the clip board?

I'm guessing the hand controllers are supposed to work. Do they work after you re-assign the buttons with the mouse?

I haven’t tried it with the mouse yet but, will today. Yesterday was my first attempt. I was going on the assumption that since the controllers appeared active bringing the clip board up that it would work to select and open the menu items.
It would be useful to have a “How To” sticky for this new functional ability vs pecking around trying to figure it out. Regardless, it pretty amazing stuff.
Thanks FLS! :salute

Sometimes the updates have bugs. :aok

Skuzzy, what say you? Is this a bug or an “I don’t know what I don’t know”?

in your settings folder, try deleting your VRoculustouchleft and right.JSM files then restart AH.
Then you should get the default mapping for the touch controllers.

Thanks for the reply Waffle. I’ll do that today and report back.

Go into your settings folder and delete the files VR_oculustouchleft.jsm and VR_oculustouchright.jsm
Start AH up and you should then have the default controller mapping.
