Title: Zone Alarm problem is back

Starting with Beta 39, I'm again having problems when attempting to log onto AH2 with Zone Alarm running.  Specifically, when Zone Alarm is active, I click on "On-Line" on the clipboard, then click "OK" when the ID and password page comes up.  As soon as I do, the screen freezes and I am unable to alt-tab or ctrl-alt-del to get to the Zone Alarm dialog window.  Thus, I am unable to tell Zone Alarm to allow AH2 to access the Internet.  My only recourse then is to power off my computer and restart it.  If I disable Zone Alarm before trying to go on-line with AH2, I'm able to connect to the AH2 server and enter the arena.

PC Specs:
2.8GHz P-IV
512 Mb of RAM
64 Mb GForce4 MX
Windows XP Pro
Internet access thru Cable Modem

After clicking Log in, type a (the keyboard command for Allow access) while screen is frozen and you'll be all set.

I think this info would be a good permanent addition to the readme file...

Thanks, Rolex.  I'll give that a try.  Still, it is a bug that was squashed a dozen beta versions ago, and is now back.

Sabre please try and keep up to date with the betas ;)

The fix HT put in as a work around to a Zone Alarm problem, caused some people to not be able to connect to AH2 at all.

Consequently HT removed that code and the result is those that use the free Zone alarm will continue having to manually work around each new release.

This problem is not an AH bug, HT explained it in another thread which i cannot be asked to track down.

Ah...you're right, Cav, I totally missed that.  I always glance at the read-me, but must have missed that (and/or the BBS post where HiTech explains that.  Thanks for the info.

also go into zone alarm, go to programs, Right mouse click on ah2
and a pull down comes up. Click on changes frequently and anytime ah2 gets a patch no problem.

That option is only on Zone Alarm Pro, Deth7.

Amazingly for me, Beta 41 allowed the ZA popup to show but still had to use keyboard entry since mouse was frozen.
