Gents, I am a little concerned about Dale. It seems his last board post was Jan 31.
I had a major computer crash and need his help with the admin' issues in getting back but emails and phone messages aren't accomplishing anything.
Any members live close to him that can check on his well being?

Reach out to Kenai77 (jimmyd3 on forums)... he seems to be in fairly regular contact and visits.

If you click on his name on one of his posts, it says he was last active March 11.

He's saying that if you click on hitech's name and look at his profile summary, it shows the last active time was on March 11th.

was my original handle. Had to leave the game for a while when AH3 came out. Came back years later after I got an adequate computer built that would handle the improved game.

Fair perception. Physically and mentally.. He took some major bashings by morons, now his family situation, too much negative. Right now, he requires positive.

Agreed. We are trying to draw numbers. We want to be here despite the situation.
I disagree. 200 and bbs were worse years past. I wouldn’t even visit the bbs after a while, because of the rampant arrogance. All one has to do is look how former players act here actually trying to skim players and bad mouth our game. We lost the worst. Numbers are lower but rock solid stable. We WANT to be here. The others took their crybaby balls and went home. They cause more trouble than current paying players. We are the hardcore AHers.

I think the gaming industry as a whole has changed over time. I mean look at all the options out there for gaming, not just limited to air combat simulation.
I personally don't play other games, but I'm not oblivious to the fact there are literally millions of other options out there.
Would prefer 500 to 800 here?? Duh.
Is the game still fun the way it is? Definately.

Life can and likely will kick you in the teeth. Happens to many if not most of us. So long as the income for this endeavor is greater than the cost it will continue. That's my opinion and I'll stick with it until evidence says otherwise.

He is a one man show, no maybe about it.
But the game is still good.. so.... I'll repeat myself.
Could it be better?? Yes.
Will it change much? Unlikely
Are there other options out there?? Yeah
Play the game and comment, or don't do either. If you are thinking about re-subscribing Busher, keep in the back of your mind there won't be updates.
