Title: Special Wind Music Needed
Post by: TEShaw on January 03, 2019, 12:15:02 AM
So, all those World War I airplanes with bracing wires, the wires vibrate and strike a musical note: like wind-harps - aeolean harps.

One of the best WWI aviator memoirs is titled, "The Wind in the Wires".

I might be the only person around here to have made a wind-harp, but surely you know what I'm talking about.

And then, who knows?  Was the Albatros monocoque a resonating body for the harp?

Yeah, weird thinking.

I approached the closest contact near me on WW1 aircraft and he stated that he has his own audio project in the works, so no he won't allow his planes to be captured in recordings. I am not charging for what I am doing, so I'm also not likely to put out any more money than I have to.

When it comes to wing bracing it's fairly easy to reproduce in other ways (Foley sound).
