a player would be interested to know who is interested in a players location and using the wingman command to find this out :)
would be a simple script to make a text announcment to whoever is being wingmaned just like the one given to the player typing the wingman command would it not?

and maybe finally get rid of Fester's suspicion :huh and enable Fester to offer requested apology :) to "who" for inaccurate public accusations. :aok

How about adding a "do you accept this player as your wingman?" prompt to prevent stalkers? Kind of like join requests. If you check "no", then he can't highlight you on the map.

Well, on 200, I see a few minutes ago Fester still making false public accusations about me being a shade account. :huh
When will he finally see truth and apologize for said accusations? :bhead
I forgive you Fester, your awesomeness compensates -- still. :old:

I remember when Shane requested to actively highlight his dot on enemy radar and to let even the enemy wingman him so he could advertise his location in a 'come get me' style. But then Shane was a badass

OK if in the text butter; not OK if it generates a pop up window. Anything which produces additional annoying pop up windows when you're in the middle of a fight is bad. One existing example is someone asking whether you want to joint their squad. All that stuff should be taken care of when you are on the ground.

Top gun has sent me at least seven unrequested invites to join their squad, all of which I repeatedly and quickly declined, of course. But those squad invites show up in the middle of my screen, in some cases as I was fighting. Very annoying... Very annoying indeed.
Top Gun's, or any squads, mass efforts to join new squad members should not be allowed while in flight. :old:

-1 as KOTH Team Lead.

I don't understand the need for this request, if you want to follow me around and attempt to make me the first target in an engagement; go ahead.
Everyone targets P38s first in a fight anyway, and I don't even need to wear a tinfoil hat.

I promise I am no shade account of The Few or any other squad. I do not have, and have never had, more than one active account at any one time.
Am ready or Fester's apology for false public accusations saying otherwise when he is ready and able to man-up to do so. :aok

+1 I'd love to know who .wingman me during scenarios and FSOs rather then me having to .wingman everyone else - make it so if someone wingman's you then they are binded to you in the same mannor as if you .wingman'ed them.
This helps people getting prepared for scenarios etc if one person is away or busy etc.
