[EDIT] not talking about external view of airplane in the game. This is about seeing the real world 'through' Rift S headset.
I've done some searching, but you may already know the answer...
The external stereoscopic view that was used during Rift S setup...
...you know, so you could see the keyboard or your beverage coaster or touch the floor without removing the headset? [or could type taunts on 200?]
There must be some button or Oculus command to toggle that external view, right?
Well, I can't find the toggle.
Say how, please.
Thanks.

Right touch controller. Hit the menu button twice. Hit any button to return to VR.

The pass thru feature isn't like a crystal clear view. I think it's just the views of all the headset cameras pasted together. It's blurry and kinda pixelated. Like a low light camera. Enough to see stuff around you like what you just tripped over but not like you can read.

Thanks, Drano.
(Now if only Oculus allowed that to to be assigned a joystick function....)

Yes! I can tell you that would have saved the tragic end of one beer!
