It seems to me AH has gotten a little tight on its enforcement of their
perceived political post rule... there have been several posts that
do not seem political to me but they are locked...

Yet, threads that are clearly spam are not deleted/locked even when notification was given.

Most not even be closed due to political comments, comments like "Flame baiting, flaming, being abusing, being disrespectful, trolling, spamming or posting to incite or annoy is not allowed" would get them closed as well.
What confuses me is some of these people who start a thread "hoping" it wont go bad knowing damn well it will, why bother?

I personally enjoy the various views these discussions turn up and am usually disappointed when they are locked as they are just getting interesting when they are
Are they locked from a "might scare away subs" pov?
When attacks go personal just ban that poster...see the Chinese plane crash thread

I don't want ANYBODIES thread locked... my original post was merely a comment
on the mods hypocrisy... some get away with breaking the rules and others do not (coogn for example)

But it's really all about division...keeping us at each other's throats for whatever the invented last excuse is..
