I don't understand.
1. Is this an everyone does this so why was I picked out of the crowd for punishment?
OR
2. The Mods are caprecious and a better more fair system should be in place since I wasn't Moded for all infractions on that day while other players say much worse than I with no suspension?

Ch200 fits the description of a clever Darwinian Honey Pot. If you tune it, you probably would get into trouble on range anyway. So it makes it easier for the Mods to keep track of you.
Over the years I have listened to and read players say and write very nasty things and the next day still have communications privleges. My single warning for writing the word "wassabie" some years ago was enough for me to see the process ain't perfict. At this late stage of my game career, getting mass reported would be like getting carded by a preaty young lady when I buy beer or being accused of cheating. I know I'm lame at the game and it's my own fault when I get shot down. So I would want to know how I P.O'd so many people as lame as I am.
But, I don't play the game so I have access to it's second most popular form of combat provided by Ch200. I'm not sure how much deterence there is over all to the few who are muted or ban punished. It does at first glance look to be a group of repeat offenders over the years. They are also a small vocal group of players prone to seeking verbal combat here in the forums with Skuzzy and Hitech becasue that's how they seem to be wired. While most other players simpely acccept their punishment and ride it out or approach Skuzzy politely to work out the issue.
Is the process perfict? Don't know because I don't pay Hitech and Skuzzy $14.95 to punish me so I can accuse them of being unfair to me. Do many of the same players rail against the moderation process each time it catches them. Yes.
So is it a totalitarian, caprecious, unfair, descriminitory process? -or- Is there a group of players prone to entangeling themselves in it regardless of it's imperfections and knowing it's triggers? Then challenging the premis and authority of the process regardless of their culpability?

I'm glad I am not a Mod. And I'm gald Mods don't moderate squad alternate channels. At some point many of us have said much worse in jest to squadmates. Which may be the crux of this...................... rhino is not a member of POTW. I hope that HTC is always looking to adjust their moderation process to eliminate as much capreciousness as possible so justice is swift and "equal" for all. I'm also sorry that my last statement won't make this any better for my squadmate during this episode of game moderation. I would get the Mod hammer myself if I wrote the same thing on Ch200 about another player.

While I think people should be able to talk about the news, sports, or politics of the day circumventing the language buffer is a violation of the rules. That's what got you IN hot water.

you got to be a real dork if you report someone..ever hear of squelch. this is only creating a big group of babies and need daddy to step in when they cant handle the situation they started. also chat suspension is wire fraud...i am paying full price for a game that i'm not getting full use from. i left the game because of this sort of atmosphere....empowered dorks. little pee ons who have little to no victories in life acting like big tuff guys. the game is just one undiciplined dork after another. guys who need a kil so bad to impress their freinds and see their name in lights that they will try to get a kill ....usually steal kills, with no regard for any body but themselves. its become so sickening and imature i can't handle it anymore.I mean how many 4vs1 do i have to fight...really? DORKS! Now i sit back and watch all the faceless online tuff guys talk all their smart mouth crap. Not only this.but i know after my last chat suspension my personal setting were changed. pilot wound every up..plane disinergrates with one little hit. at the same time i would level a plane out w/30mms and get an assist. wings were coming off if you looked at my planes wrong. the last month i was on this game stole my money. it was picking the winners and loser :airplane: :airplane: :airplane:. i really dont care what youre opinion is i know what isaw. been here since day one...do ya think i wouldn't notice the difference. great game...f this OUT

I think you'll find that HTC doesn't care for people using their game as a personal soap box with a captive audience and driving on their customers and potential customers by creating a hostile environment. Squelch doesn't solve that, not even close.

and what sort of power would they have to shut a loudmouth braggart..... much like this post here up? HTC gives the squelch, and the report. Works well, I squelch who every time he logs on and I don't have to report him. That works for me, other may need to be reported.... if I get tired of squelching idiots.

your paying full price to play a game BY THE RULES set forth by HTC. Break the rules you can be modded, and/or suspended.

No, the stars have to be added to the name using the asterisk as the star. ie (.squelch *name)
