Kweassa, what program did you use to edit those? I'd like to be able to touch up my pictures some too. Check out my two posts in this forum to see what I mean, hehe. Thanks in advance!

I use Photoshop 6.0
These are the sequences I touch my pictires, almost same in every one:
* Filter - add noise(uniform), very lightly
* Filter - blur(gausian)
* minor corrections - lightings, partial blur etc.
* Filter - lens flare
* Image - apply image(screen mode, green, sometimes with mask in blue or green)
The way I see it, if the "greenness" in AH is somehow toned down overall, the game itself would be very good. It's mostly about the color and lightings.. I saw someof the Warbirds III films, and I must say the AH modellings aren't too bad.. the real difference comes from lighting effects in the whole arena. ;)

extreamly nice sir... I'd like to see some more if possible :-P... grab some folks pictures from off the boards and see what you could do with them (but that probably wont work... Don't know much about photo/graphical editing)

the images have a similar colour quality to films like 'saving private Ryan' or the 'Band of Brothers' series, which adds to the realism.
I want the game to look like this now :):

Ah, the lofty :rolleyes: that means your either lost and thoughtless, or can’t add a viable comment. Don't fret however.
I don’t think the “real” world can at this time be graphically represented on a computer monitor. Hell, it may not ever be able too, and actually, considering, I why should it or you make that comparison? I doubt Hollywood puts a $20,000 lens filter on movie cameras when they could just do a camcorder VHS grab. It adds to the illusion. Immersion in this case.
So when you read “if the "greenness" in AH is somehow toned down overall, the game itself would be very good ” it may be the best simple explanation of why AH slightly misses the mark and seems cartoon-ish. HTC delivers on so many points, and tries so hard in new models and skins, why not at least consider this point Kweassa makes?
It’s not been talked about much, and I think a simple color correction would be huge in immersion, and the product itself.

I didnt mean the SBD in general. I was saying that the Microsoft CFS2 SBD sucks. Really bad textures, no transparency through the grates in the dive breaks, flaps, etc.
Ill see if I can find a screenshot later.

I'm going to try that with some shots i have from a midway battle on the CV with an SBD....i don't know might make me....yeah...:D
