Title: Default Look Back Head Position
Post by: terrydew on March 28, 2017, 03:33:00 PM
Where is this position stored. I thought it was in "planes" but I deleted those and position is still the same. When I click back in a P47M I am looking down the right side of the plane and cannot move to the other side. Is this position hard coded for each plane? If not, which file stores it?

Thanks
Terry

You want the P-47M.hps file. The easy fix is to take the headset off, hold the keypad or hat for the rear view then press the  Home key to reset the rear view and F10 to save it.

You can also just move your head, wearing the headset, to center the rear view then save it with F10.

AH3 has a folder of default hps files. If you delete your hps files from the planes folder I believe the game will install the defaults. You can delete the default *.hps files if you don't want any of the pre-set head positions.

Things I just thought of to do.

1. Head position in VR saved to different file.

2. If in VR head positions are not loaded from defaults.

I think that would be a good change. Is there a default head position somewhere for vehicles?
I looked in the default file but only saw airplanes?
