Some of the people from our old Bigweek newsgroup have investigated this, and find it interesting.
Based on their reports, it would be wise to retire from your job and file for divorce before committing to this sim. Seems to be a full-time project to get good at it, along with the other people who are crewing your sub.
As an example, Fidd (some of you remember him - Englishman) says that he went several scenarios until he could always remember to close the conning tower hatch before the boat went underwater.

Ok. That MIGHT be the SIM I'm looking for. You say SEVERAL players can operate in a single SUB? Like me and my boys could man several stations? :x

I used to play the CRAP out of the original Silent Service.
I always wanted to make a WWI sub game where you used a manual targeting wheel to calculate your firing solutions.
And Q-ships!

Liked the game but at 67 yrs old... I do not have

Ramesis- I thought at 67 you’d have weeks to play a mishun or two in Silent Service :D
