Subject line says it all!
I'd like to find some guys and or gals who are fun to fly with and don't lose it when they get shot down or start cursing if somebody makes a mistake. I'm pretty easy going myself and promise not be a pain in the butt or a lousy wingman. I'm just adapting to Aces High, and SA is my weak point. Learning the flight models will take some time, but it's SA that gets me killed most of the time!
I'd prefer to use teamspeak rather than the built in coms in AH. In fact, I'd sort of rather turn the in game coms off if I could.
But, I'd use them if I find the right bunch to fly with.
I'd like to play for an hour or two each evening around 8pm CST but am open to flying at other times as well. Anyhow, I don't claim to be a 'top gun' but I do think I am easy to fly with and a good team player.
Cheers

We currently use Ventrillo. Corsairs are fun ... when we fly them.

Ventrilo? Why don't you upgrade to telegraph machines?

Hi Finnster
I hope your doing well. I would like to point out one of the biggest advantages of Aces High's built in com system is it gives you ranged talk which allows you to talk to people that are in your same general area of the game. There really is no way to do this in Teamspeak or any other coms program/app.
If your dead set on using outside coms I would consider using mumble as you can set up your own server and you can even set up a Raspberry pi maker board as a Mumble server.
You can use Teamspeak and Mumble with Aces High and even side by side with the built in AH voice coms but you want to be mindful of your key bindings. You don't want to bind you're PTT button in team speak to the same key as your Gear toggle in AH.

ROTFLMAO..... Roger.... dang my gear is going down again....

Thanks guys.
I haven't had any 'bites' from squadrons, so I'll just keep flying alone I guess.

I could talk to the fellas about switching to Teamspeak.

Oh no... I don't want to try to force my ideas on anybody. If you guys are happy in AH coms, that's fine.
I'm just not used to them I guess. I like teamspeak because I'm used to it.

Ever use discord?
You can have a music bot and hear music in the party

lmao

I have Ventrilo, TeamSpeak, and Discord all setup. Honestly like vent over the others.

Have all three, as well. :)

Check out the AK's. All of our members use TeamSpeak in conjunction with Squad Vox. We have squad night on Mondays, or join up with any of us in the arena to see if we mesh.

I have to say the AK's do seem like a fun bunch. I've been flying with them and against them for years.
:salute
