JABO take less time than bombers so thats probably why we dont have many bombers yet :(

Ah, I'm wondering...Did it remove the siren from D version? (I think B version had it though)

It seems SUPERFLY's Ju-87D-3 doesn't have a siren...

Was at the il2 site checking out the D3 and well they said it had sirens. Not saying that they're right though.

I am happy to see the Stuka, and Imo, the models chosen were good choices, I was concerned that if we got the stuka it would be the D-5 with the added powere and 20mm cannons and would their fore of been very out of place in early war CT and event's set up's, this is a great choice imo. TY Pyro ans Supperfly she is very Beautiful.

You mean there is not a hoopty Rustatz field mod kit for a siren along with 412370000 kg bomb and eleven 30 mm cannons?

Post by: Ack-Ack on November 27, 2002, 09:36:59 PM: Only the Anton, Berta, C and R models had the siren and was removed with the introduction of the Dora model. They removed it because they felt the sirens had lost their effectiveness.

The increased weight from the added armor protection for the crew also decreased its speed and maneuverability and was used more in the ground support roll rather than as a dive-bomber. This particular model was also introduced in late '41 and started to see action in early '42 on the Eastern Front.

It carried 2x forward firing 7.92mm MG17 machine guns mounted on the wings and the rear guns were twin belt-fed 7.92mm MG81 machine guns. With the addition to the more powerful Junkers Jumo 211 engine, the payload of the Dora variant increased to 1,800kg (3,968lbs). It still retained the dive brakes that were later removed on the D-5 variant.
