I'll petition someone to make the nose art for "Big Neeger".

Only problem for all those aircraft you only have nose art. I have been looking for years for more pictures & info on the shark mouth goon.

That shark mouth is awesome!

That's not the same as the one in the noseart link. The teeth are different, and the B&W photo has shark eyes near the nose.
It's also a post-war scheme. You'd need to find more info on the war-time one, which looks more olive drab.

Krusty,
I know they are different I am still working on looking for the shark mouth. I stumbled on that one and posted it. That navy scheme is really cool....but unfortunately post war. I will post some more links of war time for those interested.
Here are some other C-47's also (without sharks mouth):

Krusty,
I have also posted a link here to a massive list of books (found on internet) that you can either look up or buy. These books cover all types of aircraft and would have pictures of planes and nose art in them for anyone who is skinning. You would have to of course purchase the book or copy and paste the name of the book into your browser and see what comes up.

I am still looking for a sharks mouth C-47 but now my interest has also peaked to search for C-47/DC-3 that were used by other countries during WW2.
Cheers

That's funny...
There was a B-17-G that was named "Chow Hound"
And there was a B-25-J (I think) called "Dirty Gerty From Bizerte" in the salmon-ish paint scheme.
Didn't know that planes were double-named...
-
Meg, I found that one too, but I believe that c47 is post war for the Tiger Airlines. It may have flown in WW2 and converted to an airliner but we can't use it because it did not fly with that paint scheme in WW2....or so the rules of valid skins say.

Lyric, we have to get that model in. :aok I'll vote everyday. What a great find. I say it can still carry supplies, troops and even drop bombs. Oh man that would be sweet. :O
On a similar note, I say the JU-290 be incorporated into the game and be able to do the same thing.

Still looking for a unit it belonged to.
I have a book on order where those photos came out of.
Hopefully something there to work with.
