Out of curiosity, what is the most kills you have ever seen landed? Plane or vehicle.

I've reached 11 in the P-38, P-51, N1K, and 190A8 before. All 4 times I was defending from a CV, so I's just intersect the main flow of planes, make a slash attack, and repeat. Real effective in that situation

I think the most I ever landed was 11 WAAAAAAY back when I was good in my trusty Spit 8. Now I'm lucky to get 3 kills.

Back in the old TT, I landed 89 in a Tiger.
Very next sortie I had 101 in a Tiger and was heading home when Vanscrew Lancstuka'd me. :furious

most I landed was 6 in a seafire, it happened last night, all of them were vulches (only way i can do it :cry :cry)

I think about 23 in an M3. I was hiding in the big hangar at a port while the enemy suicide-dry-spawned LVTs to capture the port. I towered out seconds before they captured it with hundreds of troops.

12 in a yak9U with no rearm
9 were Lancasters
2 38s 1 190
caught them on takeoff first 38 augured diving on me, killed the 2nd 38 in a turn fight 190 stalled and spun in behind me during turn fight with 2nd 38, went after the lancs, who were trying to run on the deck, killed 1 in first set with cockpit shot, other 2 hit a mountain too busy watching me, other 2 sets i methodically staled and killed all with frontal attacks.. the seemed more intent in trying to form up than in returning fire so I killed at least one on every pass landed with 0 cannon and 12 MG and a missing aileron.

94 in a Tiger.....Still got film somewhere. It was back when the VH's were all still together.

Air to Air (no rearms, no vultching): 17 in an La7 back in AH1.
Vultching: 29 in an Ostwind with OddCAF driving, back in AH1. (we ended up taking the base)

I think the most are usually landed by Tankers
Planes are tougher to get and take a few re-arms
Back in 07 Shawks old crew of 2nd acct. vulchers used to repeatedly land many kills at a time. Forgot the name of the one guy he had but he landed like 64 kills in a ? ? ? not sure what. Then posted a 4 min film of himself getting the last two or three legit like :rofl
I never rearm, just not my way but have managed

12 in a Nik
8 in a Ki-84 thats all the ones I can remember anyway.

I saw FX1 on film landing 55 kills in a tempest, in a couple of reloads. No vulching. Highest i got to was 25 in a p51D before i bottled out and landed.

Actual air to air kills was 16 for me, I usually am out of fuel or ammo by the time I hit 7-8. GV kills or vulches I have no clue how many.
Most I have seen landed would probably be Fester landing 100+ in 262s. Of course there was what's his name in the P-40B that time.

I hit a tree one time dodging a dora with 39 kills on board.... 35+ a few times ... and 30 a 1/2 dozen or so times...20+ to many times to count..... I used to want to top that all the time...but it is time consuming and boring flying safe all the time....not to mention dweeby! :aok

lol I've never tried to mount a huge kill landing. Sometimes they just happen. The ones I posted I was in the middle of the fight and low each time. Not sitting up high or waiting on the edges.
..... kind of surprised at folks claiming lots when they vulched or spawn camped them..... :rofl

My record is by no means impressive:
Panzer: 23 (Got a 500 pounder on the head for my troubles)
Sherman: 19 (ran out of ammo, RTB)
Ki-84....7 (some were proxy...like I said: not impressive)
Parachute....1 (go figure)
Wirbel....12
Osti.......12
There are other examples, but didn't note them down.
I remember someone in a Lanc that dropped on a V-Base and got 14 kills at once. Doesn't pay to be clumped together.

when the M4 was new i was gunning for a noob out of boredom and landed 20 as a gunner. saw 1 or 2 people (forget who it was) land 100+ when Tiger was King in TT. feel like one of them may have been ogie or dr7....not sure though

I am not sure how many my most is, the two that stand out in my mind are 35 in a Chog - vulching the bottom left hand base on the old mindanao map. We were trying to capture the base after a CV took it - all fighter hangars were out and they kept upping bombers.
The other one was 26 in a 262 over A1 on the old Furball Island, all were air to air, but vast majority were low and low E.

Nice. I wish I had gotten into the tiger more before the old TT was removed, I remember it was removed the same tour/week I first used it. :(

35 defending a town from a bish gv hord mission in a tiger.(no camps)
75 in a tiger fighting to and then camping a field at a furball. (I think it was at the a1-a19 furball on uterus map.)
Some weird glitch/bug gave me 254 proxies in an m4 however none of them were earned.
The most ive seen landed was from Fester and I think it was in the 70's.

Most I ever didn't land was 17...... In a plane.
Never landed more then that.
GV lands aren't as impressive, I've been up past 35.

Think 15 in the 38j was my best a2a.
I remember getting 24 on my old computer with a formation of 234s bombing a GV base back when hangars were still placed side by side. It made my screen freeze. :cool:

56 in a tiger. All but one were the same guy. He kept spawning a pt boat about 50 yards offshore of town, then he brought 2 tanks to try and get me (t-34/76 and panzer). I never thought the guy would keep spawning in like that.
In a plane air-to-air I think I've gotten 10 at most.
In a bomber right around 20, most of which were all on the pad on old v-base set-up right as hanger popped. If I remember correctly it was 15 or 16 gvs plus aircraft attacking my bombers from dead 6.
When I first started I had a run of 16 vulches in a 110g-2 until the auto-ack popped.......large airfield....poof!

A few re-arms in the mix.... no vulches.
I landed because that was my age at the time, I think. Perhaps I had just turned 21... I'm not sure.

:rofl I have film taken today of me hitting your Tempest with .50s and 20mms and you not even getting a scratch. The very next sortie (on film also), you knock my tail off on a shot AFTER I was out of your view. So your statement doesn't surprise me in the least.

Personally I've never paid that close of attention. Probably somewhere around 8 or 9 in the air and maybe 14-15 in a tank...
I'm just waiting for one of the more notorius shade killers to post in here... I'm sure there are shade killers that can put all your numbers to shame! :rofl

Not my best but the only one I have a pic to prove it. Had 2 500# bombs left and the main pad hanger just popped....and out came alot of gvs. Got 13 of those kills with 2 bombs. So funny...for me anyway.

Used to be a guy (Long b4 AW went tits up and all the AW peeps flooded into AH) who flew nothing but the 190. I forget his name....think he was from Brazil....anyway, I remember him landing a 49 kill sortie in a 190. This was back before all the dweebery silliness we see today. Landing a 10 kill sortie was a hell of a deal back then so you can imagine the sensation with everyone online in game at the time.

In FW-190D9, 26 kills w/o rearm, 45 min sorty. For most kill w/ rearms I think I had one that hit 40+ then got nail by flak and had to land.

many 15-25 1-rearm sorties in the 152..
17 in a 152 on 50% fuel.
35 in a D9 with 1 rearm back in AH1.
35 or so twice (first time ran out of fuel middle of nowhere) in a 262 a month ago.. I've done 30-40 in a jet about a dozen times or more. It gets pretty boring beyond that.
I think I did 80 something with a tempest back in H2H. I got kicked for vulching the host in the last couple of kills.
The real all time streak record is still 350 something in one tour by Fishu (IIRC).

17 in a CHOG and 14 2x in an f6. No rearms. Darn happy to land 2 most days. One of the f6 runs was kind of funny. Ack was fresh dead and 2 guys kept upping in spit IX's. I started seeing how few rounds I could use to shoot them down since I was running low. Some one asked me how I got so many kills. I told them I couldn't get any help. So I had to do all the vulching myself. :rofl Then a N1K1 tried to HO me when I was RTB. Ended landing with a partial wing. Was a pretty touchie landing. Some one took out the N1K1 for me. Thank goodness.
22 kills in tiger once. Not a GV'er. Even then a squadie brought me supplies to fix my Tiger so I could move about 10 yards to cement. You really never do this type of things alone. At least I haven't. If I land a bunch of kills it's because I had some wingies covering me. :salute those folks.
What I'm most proud of is #1 helping my countrymen or my squadies and another incident where I didn't get any kills (Well I had one but from an earlier encounter). I was caught low and slow by 3 BnZ ponies. Everytime I would reverse one another came in just before I got lined up and I would reverse them. This went on for about 15 minutes. I just could not believe I was fending them off so well with such low E. Finally a wingie or two came to my aid. By this time the p51s were much slower and 2 ran as ponies seem to do. I had been the only survivor in a mini furball. Again, thank goodness for wingies!

38 in a Tiger twice and 36 another time.
10 in a Ju-87 and in an F6F-5 GV hunting with re-arms. 5 in the F6F a few times without re-arming.
5-6 in many different fighters without rearming.
Oops, forgot while reading the posts, I had 9 one day in a Spit V against some noob who just didn't know when to quit.

97 in tiger. Camped a vh. Got killed when running out of ammo. 80 something of them were tanks and the rest was clever people augering their planes into me lol

Aye Puffie acks are crazy. One time I was in a 262 just flyin through an enemy air field to RTB, I was doing about 550 + at 5k. First ack puff did a direct hit and blew me up.

I got 10 air kills in a t34 ... funny as all hell they were trying to bomb me and couldn't do it and they were Lawndarting in the ground next to me and i did get a few legitimate kills too. Here is film

22 or 23 in a Dhog while trying to capture A4 in ndisles. Flying from A1, no rearming.
Maybe 10 were vulches and GVs, the rest were shot down while trying to protect our goons.
Still they got our goons three times and we never got the base.
I think it was still in AH1 era.

6 in an A20, 3 lancasters, 1 gunner, and 2 fighters (vulched, or killed just after takeoff) There were 10 or so squadmates headed in to try to capture a field. The fun part is I "smelled" it and told the guys before it happened.
Turned early, was not heading straight for the field when I came across a very low formation of lancasters.
9 in a C-205 mixed bag mostly fighters air to air , deacked the field and someone upped a formation of lancs so I vulched them on the runway and laughed all the way back home. (back when not so many acks on a field)
24 in a panzer (3 of us camped a VH long long ago)
All without rearms.

Runned out of 30mm aft 12, got 4 lucky kills using 2x13mm`s.
Big furball(+ minor vulch) and maybe some of my kills were even more drunk than i was :D

I've had in the 90s in both a Tiger and an Ostwind but I died both sorties.
I never rearm so My highest kills landed haven't topped 15 yet (190A8, P-51, P-47, and P-38)
I've landed 10-12 several times. My favorite was 7 in a Hurricane Mk I (no rearms or vulching..and still had 800 rounds left). I died with 8 one sortie trying to beat my record.

most kills 1 sortie no rearms that i've seen and was flying with guy was 850 kills in p51 Dh367th had 350 kills same flight no rearms in a p38.

Had 7-8 in a 110 but that was just strafing PT boats and LVTs so it doesn't count.

I have done 20 3 times no rearm.
(super rare for me to rearm unless it's to get bombs when ord is out)
Two sorties (temp/chog) were at least 1/2 vulches.
One sortie in ma' Niki I did 20 "clean" all a2a.
10-19 i've done too many times to remember.
Can't seem to get 21 for some reason.
Did 50+ in H2H with near unlimited ammo.
(but you can't really count H2H...)

10 with no re-arm Ki61.....oh hang on, you mentioned landed. nah never landed that. I don't land much :D with bad SA and a fixation issue with red I have trouble leaving, even if I have to follow people around with no ammo typing bang bang in the text buffer. :lol

when old TT was in the arenas i landed 168 kills in a tiger. thats when i was still with LTARs

Between A8jonplr and myself, 244 total kills in Panzers (landed) in 1 outting. 2 legit kills in an M3 using the 50 cal, 1 Typhoon & 1 Pony.

My squaddie RosscoG landed 49 in a 5 incher about two weeks ago. The only one of mine that stands out was 9 in an fm2 but skill played very little part in it, it was a target rich environment and most of them prolly augered.

Uptown I'd agree on most of them mine however were in low over the water fights. Scotch your absolutely correct IMHO, but he asked. I was just totally taken back by what many of the folks are posting.

Agreed. I never rearm anymore. I find no sense in it, other than getting greedy and trying to get your name in lights with a high # of kills.

Ya, obviously by looking at some of these #'s some were probably vulches/ picks or whatever and I know that #'s alone dont mean much but I just find it interesting reading.

Of coarse there are guys that can mix it up in a furball and get home with double digit kills, and that's great. But those guys are few. Certainly not 7 pages of people.
I don't mean to be negative. I just saying that rearming is usually for the ones that need their ego stroked. Just my opinion and it's probably wrong. :salute

The thing w/ rearming is it's such a big waste of time. When I'm in a BnZ plane, I usually run out of fuel before ammo, by then it's time to rest the bird. In a D9 45 min full fuel duration w/ DT. If I go by 45min and not shot to hell and make it back, it's a success. When I'm in a tnb plane, it's usually too shot up to rearm :cry. Though sometime I'd rearm just so I can see how many I can get, and usually I never could land it because my luck eventually runs out=/. But damn it's sure is fun when I get to land a rearm mission =)

I have to admit... I don't have any idea. Though I did the Tempest rearm thingy a few times (and occasionally still do), I just forgot my "top" result... something 30+, but it was so "memorable" I simply did forget the exact number. Same with Tiger or 262...
The one thing I did never forget were my "only" 7 kills in a Hurricane I in a CV battle, no rearms :)

The one thing I did never forget were my "only" 7 kills in a Hurricane I in a CV battle, no rearms :)
I landed 7 with no rearms as well! Had 8 one time but got killed on the RTB...damn you Lyric1 :furious

With respect to re-arms, I used to do it sometimes but not for score necessarily.
I would get bored with the wash/rinse/repeat cycle of the MA, so I would up a plane and basically fly the same plane until I was either shot down or survived until I was done playing anyway. Yes, it sometimes made for "timid" flying, but I found it a way to keep my interest in an otherwise treadmill like existence.

actually it's more challanging to stay alive then to get shot down. Which sometimes it's rly fun, espcially with people out looking for ya.

Back in 07 Shawks old crew of 2nd acct. vulchers used to repeatedly land many kills at a time. Forgot the name of the one guy he had but he landed like 64 kills in a ? ? ? not sure what. Then posted a 4 min film of himself getting the last two or three legit like :rofl

Spawn camping is the biggest peeve of mine people act like its so easy. Sometimes you get a guy thats IMPOSSIBLE to kill more than 10 times in a row. If you guys think that spawn camping requires no skill let someone up a t34-85 /25 times and see what happens.
Only way to survive a good spawn camp breaker is to sit 3,000 yards away and have backup close to spawn covering you so the spawnee doesn't have time to aim 3,000 yards.

Belial - I think part of Grizz' point was that you can rack up a ton of camping kills with next to no 'skill'. A couple of clueless spawners showing up in the open are easy to plink when you're sitting in a good spot with a strong gun/armor. Just point and shoot. No maneuvering, etc. Same story as comparing a hard earned 10+ A2A kill streak vs. 20 kills vulching JoeBob1234 and his two weeker squaddie KILLER666.

Very rarely. Especially with the great ones, its usually a matter of who gets the shot off first.

I don't mean that.. Just that kill streaks from camping and vulching aren't saying much. Kill streaks in a GV can be as hard as in planes, if you're making them in real battles, and have to safely make your way back to rtb.

I think your right most of the high number kills were done in old TT.......
TT for the most part was just that TANK TOWN most bomb griefers left it alone.... Getting bombed was not as common as it is today.
Its not the Sherman as much as its not having TT.... the new t34 would have been aw some in TT....
Nowdays by the time you get to 20 kills if your not seeing the same guy upping guarantee hes in a bomber..

I've killed 4 one time, but died to a Tempest while trying to rtb.
(no vulches, no proxies).

LOL! Exactly the same problem here - I can land anything nearly all the time except a Spitfire of any marque.... I don't know why, but I ground loop the heck out of the Spit and end up breaking my prop about 50% of the time.
Rearm in a 109? OK. Tyffie? No prob. LA? Sure! Pony? Cake walk.
Land in a Spit and I touch down nice and smooth, pillow soft landing. Then I'd better stand on the left rudder pedal because it's pulling hard right and breaking off wings and prop blades. :furious

Actual air to air kills was 16 for me, I usually am out of fuel or ammo by the time I hit 7-8. GV kills or vulches I have no clue how many.
Most I have seen landed would probably be Fester landing 100+ in 262s. Of course there was what's his name in the P-40B that time.

I think about 23 in an M3. I was hiding in the big hangar at a port while the enemy suicide-dry-spawned LVTs to capture the port. I towered out seconds before they captured it with hundreds of troops.

Not counting GVs (bleh), I've done 8/9/10 in half the planes in the game, probably. From 109s, to 190s, of all versions, to p47s, to n1k2s, to ki84s, to mossies, and so on.
However, the highest I have film footage of is 16 kills in a c205. Numerous 12s, 13s, in C2s as well. In this case a friend landed kills for me in the buffer so I (having just hotpadded and reupped) landed and returned the favor. I seem to recall 18 in a C205, but apparently no film for that one, or screenshot.
I did, however, land 12 kills in a C202 (film proof of me landing). All of them fighters, and only 1 hotpad halfway through (after wasting ammo on a lanc and not getting a kill).
Then again, I have millions of sorties with 1 kill (or no kills) so it all evens out.
