Title: QUESTION: Are recorded flights viewable in VR?
Post by: TEShaw on January 02, 2019, 08:21:44 PM
I've done searches and have not been able to discover if/how flight recordings will play back in my Rift with stereoscopic vision.

So...  ??

and then, what about if the flight is recorded not in VR, but playback can do the VR thing?

This would be so WOW.

What have I missed?

Thanks.

regards,

T.E.Shaw

Film does not play back in VR. I believe that requires an updated film viewer, I don't know how much work it would be for Hitech but I'm sure it would be fun to see AH films in VR.

It would be nice if it could record head tracking too like in IL2 BOS. I can get decent recordings in VR, but something is always a little off in the way they look.

Why can’t you got to desk top in oculus and watch them?  I haven’t tried just wondering. I watched YouTube films with my hmd.
