Like the title says; I'm curious, what have you never done in AH ?
I'm not trying to say I'm more courteous than some, or anything else, just too much brandy and just idle curiosity. (BB King dying hurts)
I'll start:
1. I've never said ALT-F4 to anyone.
2. I have never sent a PM ridiculing someone else.
3. The only time I sent a PM was to compliment someone on the fight we had.
4. Never used a shade or second(or third account).
5. Never taken a base.
6. Never scored more than 72 kills in a tour.
However, I do have a lot fun only flying a P-38, dying a lot, killing on occasion, and once in awhile landing a few kills. And having fun living my childhood dream of being a P-38 pilot.
My parents were right, back in 1956, I couldn't, they didn't make them anymore.
But, in 2008, I found out the HTC did. And I get to live my childhood dream.

I try not to kill landing planes, but it gets hard to tell who is landing and who is just ack hugging when the number of planes exceeds 6.
The one thing I have never done is run from a fair fight without a good reason (missing parts, fuel, ammo).

My rank sucks anyway, so they probably wouldn't even let me drive the resupply barge. :D

If you abandon all hope and remain it tower after dieing, you may get lucky and score a hit.

Time zone, lack of interest or the fact you are a squad of one.
The squad problem can easily be fixed. Many squads have a spare plane or two.
An interest issue may fix itself if you check it out.
Still working on the time zone issue...

I've never stopped a 190 in midair, floated there for a few seconds, then flat spin 180 degrees to blast somebody. I hear it's possible.. atleast by one guy.

I have never scored an honest kill. They were all HO or a pick or a gangbang - at least according to all the PMs I keep getting.
I keep working to improve. One day someone will PM me: "my god Bozon, that was the most fair kill I have ever suffered!"

You have taken me out by cross shot or from my 6 on every occasion that you have beaten me Mossi v Mossi. I have won a couple but only by having every advantage in my favor. Lost several when I started with advantage.
So you can cross never being wrong off your list if you were thinking about adding it.

Not from lack of trying, I've never scored a kill in a plane since 2009! Yes i do fly!
I've never purposely hoed, vulched, or picked off someone eles kill.
Lastly, I've never been to Disney World and at 51 with no kids, I never will!!

Time zone (FSO is 5 AM here) and highly incompatible playing style. I dislike "flying in uniform", as it would require to concentrate on the screen. During my usual game, I have minimzed AH almost constantly, unless actually fighting.

I have never flown a ki43, ar234, bombers. I've never sunk a toejam either since I can get even close to it without the ack taking me out.

I've never dropped an enemy hq. Given that I'd probably die somewhere deep behind the lines of the enemy.
Never flew with a stick, pedals, used trackIR or similar, cause I'm not able to afford ANY of these at the moment. Maybe in a few more years tho.
Never got a gv kill with a tank or armored vehicle, not very good with spotting on the surface.
Never sunk a cv or cruiser at all.
Never flew a jet fighter/int.......yet. :t
Never participated in a special event w/members of a squad.
Never joined a squad, but are planning to sometime.

You know it is quite interesting to see how planes fly during these instances where getting the max alt really does matter. It is a big mess. Although it may take a while to find action and sometimes the missions get very long. But I mean it really feels like the real deal when you are flying with your squad on a long mission.
FSOs are what you'd expect in a real war air raid, and they bring a certian grand air war scheme that. you can't find anywhere else. It is incredible!!

Anyways, I've never had more fun in Aces High than flying with my current squad (G3MF) and 800nates.
Also I've never shot down Latrobe in a fair fight sadly, it's always because he flies into a group, in which he happens to be in my sights :salute

I've never completed the achievement to last for one or two minutes, whichever it is, when a field is being vulched.
Although, I have tried and tried, and I believe even once or twice actually done it, but no achievement for me :(

curiously when I visited dallas a few years back. I was in the window of my hotel room naked looking at the ah offices about a mile away.
I always wanted to just stop by and say hi, but I wasnt sure how to dress for it.

Getting killed by someone trying to barrel role around me. It just does not happen.
It is not that I am good. It really is not that effective a technique. I recognize it immediately and adjust. It is only a technique to use against someone playing the game less than 3 months or so.
Its effectiveness on veteran players is a myth. :old:

I'll say that is mainly because it is primarily a defensive maneuver used to dodge a BnZer or to attempt to reverse the fight from a defense to offense, if the BnZer doesn't get out far away from the bullets, they might get shot from a well executed BRD. I use the Barrel Role Defense almost every sortie vs opponents that jump my 6. A lot of times I don't necessarily kill them on the first go around, but using the BRD, I can avoid the shot and have a chance at making a shot on my opponent all in one swift motion. I may not get you the first time but it causes you to have to go around another time in order to try to kill me and that can kill a lot of your E and alt.
The reason is that some players haven't perfected it enough is beacuse they don't use the vertical enough or get flaps out and cut throttle enough, or the timing is off, so its just a very difficult maneuver to do correctly and effectively.
Many don't even know what it is. It blew my mind the first time Cooley show me it.
IMO, it is one of the best defensive maneuvers in air combat and if you can get the move down correctly, you will avoid dieing a lot and also have a shot attempt on your opponent. I'd highly recommend learning this maneuver as it will save you 9 out of 10 times. It isnt so much about getting the kill as it is avoiding getting killed, but still being able to hold some E and get the enemy to over shoot, causing them to lose more E and and Alt than before, where they can now get picked or may not have the speed to climb away after the second over shoot.
It's all about execution.
Good on you for avoiding it BTW, that does take a lot of air combat understanding as well and can done using 2 sharp emmilmanns after an overshoot. Sometimes you may even be able to rope them!

I can't think of a single thing I haven't done. I think the most impressive thing I have done was shot down a P-47 in a Panther from 2.5k above me - doubt that will ever be done again.

I've never "walked inside" an enemy GV and shot the console for a kill. Don't get me wrong, I have tired just to see if it was actually true, just didn't get that far either due to them running away or me being spotted. :)
Of course this was when you were able to do it. :D

I never did shoot down a 163 in my Mossie.
As God is my witness, I had one lined up as he went in to land, he had no clue I was there as i was NOE. Had my finger on the trigger, ready to fire.

This is what I figured would happen if I ever got down that way. Either that or they would be looking into how many garbage bags they were going to need to get rid of the body parts, how much plastic "splatter" sheets they would need and so forth :devil

Planes, jeeps, other chutes, ack emplacements.
Apparently there was someone who claimed that he had bombed the cv but it didn't sink but he shot at it with the .45 and it suddenly blew up/disappeared.
He wasn't sure whether someone else was firing at it or it was just that close to being sunk.

current Late War Tour I have a B-26B kill in a chute. Even though they passed close to my chute, its probably a proxy kill.
I get about one of these a year.

I Don't think its possible lol, Either something goes wrong. Like Collision, falling off the cv or even landing and gets pushed of backwards lol.....or being vulched or augering stupidly or even dying from a PW within 5 blackouts but they were happening every 5 secs lol.....I always Die so stupidly... :D

I died on my 223rd kill because I was going too fast and pulled up just slightly too fast causing a blackout and apparently my nose was still down. I swear it lasted for 20 seconds. I was a good 13-15K and didn't wake up till I hit the ground. Was a bit POed about that.

408 is my record. As God is my witness, I got discoed very shortly after scoring my 352nd kill, which I thought was a pretty eerie coincidence. Then, on my last sortie of the tour went AFK and came back with a JugM on my 6 who quickly ended my streak.

Hey TJ, i think the server does that purposely because you have to have atleast 1 death lol......for some reason I will either get discoed, collided with someone( which i try to avoid and it stills happens) or being pushed off the cv while its turning......its just wierd how I tend to die...

Sea Hurri - 304 kills (0 Snailmans)
Yak 7B - 132 kills (0 Snailmans)
Can think of only one time I (may have - not positive) shot down Snailman and that was when he was in B-24s. On the plus side, he has killed me only a few times over the years. One was a very brief Hurri IID vs Hurri IID encounter in a canyon and the other one was a few months ago. He was in a F4U and I was in a P-40C or P-39D (can't remember which) and he had to work for that one.

That's years ago, but I vividly remember that one. It was on Beta2, in one of the western canyons :old:
On a side note, there are many 'famous' and prolific AH pilots I almost never fought against due to opposing playing styles. I'm mostly a bomber pilot and bomber hunter so I almost never meet the low alt furballers.
And then there's that time zone mismatch...

I haven't successfully torpedoed and sank a ship flying the TBD Devastator. :noid
I've yet to carry out a successful torpedo attack that sank the CV and lived while in the G4M1. :)
