Sigh. I was just trying to reply to the balloon thread to apologize to GG for blowing up at her.
I guess being iced in for a week has my brain off kilter. I've been really on edge.
Drone drops as a surveillance tool is a possibility. That's a long drop from 60k, but possible. Don't see how they could be retrieved so would have to be self-destructed.
That would have advantages over a satellite. They might could fly down and park around some buildings inconspicuously and xmit back to sats.
We should know more when the wreckage has been recovered.

You were never prevented from saying whatever you wanted to say, and you're still not.
The difference is that over there you get pushback - since people are allowed to have opinions and discuss things without a moderator shutting it down. You're problem is that you don't like to hear the pushback. You're not used to it because over here you can't discuss much of anything.
Personal attacks are not tolerated and if you accuse someone of anything you better present the evidence. It's not a free for all over there because it's supposed to be civil. Which it is.

Actually, how do you think this promotion drive is going to work? Classically fascism only works if there's a faction to oppress and I think by now anyone who was remotely curious has wandered over and had the various experiences they report about fascism, bullying etc, so they leave. Having exhausted the potential contributors from this forum it's not sustainable so both forums are kind of dying.
It's not a very complex process.

on a side note, you should have been moderated for the stuff you said to me several times on vox in AH. sexual harassment. I know you like to drink and have fun, but you (and others) say some bad things on vox. They should keep a closer eye on the game vox, because a lot of abuse to PAYING customers occurs there.
