The 2015 Dayton Gathering will be held June 19-21 at SHawk's house.
Wiring has been updated in the garage so no power outages like last time. :cool:
If needed, the mobile a/c unit will be running in the garage to keep all attendees cooler. (Like we need that, lol)
Plenty of tent space available in the back yard or hotels available in Tipp City.
Range times TBA for those wanting to blow off some rounds.
Air show running for those interested, check http://www.daytonairshow.com/ (http://www.daytonairshow.com/) for information.
Anyone interested in attending who does not have Scott's address, please PM me, SHawk, or Maddog.
We expect no less than 5 running systems for use during the event or if sitting by the fire drinking a beer and chillaxing is more your thing, then join us in the back 40.
Attitudes and accusations are checked at the door (with the firearms) so all can expect nothing but good clean fun with "fish" stories.
I am still working on flights at the local airport.

PorkyPig, DickWeed, and I need tent space. And yes, I planned on using the portable a/c in the garage this year :rofl . I will do chili again this year on Friday night however, it will be mild this time so, you can make your own heat. I will also have a special drink mix for a few of you. I should have plenty of targets to go around for range time. I plan on arriving sometime Thursday morning.

Rosie and I plus Matsu man will be camping.
We are however Ready 5 on a possible Hotel room if the dog or myself does not behave. We will be there Friday early afternoon.
Looking forward to being at Scotts again, I think we had a great time the last time we gathered there! <S>

I have a small desktop setup I drag around motels with me, dragging it up there isn't a problem

What Time you all calling it Quits on Sunday? Being this is on Fathers Day weekend I maybe able to drive out early sunday morning and all but still a big if was just curious on the quitting time :devil

I will be grabbing a couple of cases of soda and I should have some folding tables to set systems on. We will need plastic utensils, paper plates, bowls, paper towels, napkins...etc. I will also have 4 - 9MM's, .357mag Rifle & a 10/22 takedown. Will have plenty of ammo for those and plenty of targets. Does 10am on Saturday sound good for everyone at the range? Or, is there already a time set?

I think Sunday, we should head back to my place and head down to Stonewall Jackson and shoot some rifles.
I can't promise I will bring any long guns to Ohio at this point in time.

Various circumstances prevent me from bringing more than 2 systems. I have 4 down hard. Damn guns and ammo have soaked up my funds for the next two months so, unable to afford the parts for repairs. But, I'll still come up.

Alas, it is definite now I will not be able to attend this years gathering as I have meetings at work on Friday and Monday and I also will be "catering" my buddies daughters graduation party on Saturday. 20 lbs smoked pulled pork (starting as soon as I get home on Friday and hoping to be ready to serve at 2PM Sat.) 2 trays of Mac & Cheese and a tray of sausage with peppers & onions.
I hate to miss the gathering and let ya'll down in the good grub but maybe one of ya can fill in for me.
Any chance you can still send me an XL Nef?

Well,,,,,, stuck in Cullman, Alabama waiting on the Chrysler dealership to open. Had a blowout at 2am then found out, not even a donut spare came with this thing. Gonna be delayed for a bit until the tire issue gets resolved. :furious

Got back on the road at 10, had lunch with TnDep, drove as far as Elizabethtown, Kentucky through a butt load of rain storms. Tired, holding up for the night. Will be in Dayton by 10:00am.

If there's any interest, and depending on the weather, I'm gonna go troll around the backside of the airport (Lightner Rd., Peters Rd., Old Springfield Rd., Dog Leg Rd.) between 2:00 and 4:00 Friday to try to see some practice from the cheap seats. And maybe a beer at Oscar's. MADDOG may just still have my cell#, if anyone's coming that way. Otherwise, just look for the blue bimmer. :aok
