Title: I can’t believe I bought X-plane

I forked over $80- full price- before it went on sale.  Ya- I played the demo and was impressed with the weather effects and thought- what the hell.  Stupid.  This sim doesn’t even support transparent textures- so rain looks like nuclear fallout.  The community made models are as bad or good as the community made ones for MSFS.  No difference – I don’t care what people say.  X-plane is a gimmick.  Now enter FS2004.  WOW.  What a beautiful sim.  No clunky interface- ugly terrain or 92’ graphics and the models are just as good or superior to stock X-plane models.  X-plane suxs.
