Title: Failed Initialization
Post by: leeburt on October 29, 2003, 09:13:04 PM
Got the following message when start-up attempted:

Initialization failed with -3 mainGR3D_FAILED -1

Tried different frame rates, etc. but with same result.

Running WIN XP on a Intel P4 1.7 w/GeeForce3 Ti200 64mb Video Card using nv4_dsp.dll
Title: P.S. running DirectX 8.1 (4.08.01.0810)

Try setting 1024 x 7??, 32 bit color depth and unlimited.
If that doesn't work, set your desktop to one of the lower settings and match it when you get to the video setup screen.  This work around should fix it but your mileage may vary.
