I'll tell you I called today to delete the ab8aac account and they said that since I had been a customer for over 2 years and this was the end of the month they was going to close the account at 12 midnight Sunday so I could fly this week end......THEY GAVE ME TWO DAYS ! ! ! !
Now I have read repeatedly on this board grips about HITECH CREATIONS, being not caring, not taking of the customers, blah blah blah on and on. FOLKS if this does not show how much they care about their customer base nothing does. I don't know of any other company that would do this
SALUTE in all CAPS to all of the employees at HITECH CREATIONS, I will be back after my move you can bet on it........

You should have entered a WHINE hook up in the "post subject" line. This is a PRAISE post...which will fall off the radar screen by the end of the day. Too bad...I've had nothing but great service from HTC, without exception.

Ya HTC has always been prompt helping me.... One reason why I've kept paying them after 3 years or so .... Plus they got this really addictive game :eek:

The customer svc at htc is great. I've tried AH a couple times and accounts have been handled within hours of a simple email, and always with the utmost courtesy. Cant ask for any better than that.....and dont find it anywhere else. GJ :)

I think you'll find that most anyone who snivels about customer service with HTC, probably complains about customer service where ever they go.
Some people are just professional whiners, who probably complain about which way the wind blows in RL.
It's what I call the narcissistic "ME Syndrome".
When they don't get their way it's probably due to someone not giving into their need to always have their way. They want the world to bend the rules to suit them. And most likely the same person will push the limits to make life uncomfortable for someone to fill their own selfish, usually aimless needs.
Frankly, I'm embarrassed for them, for they know not how embarrassing they are to themselves.
Best theorpy I can come up with is,...... SDSTFU ;-)

AH is about $15 a month, take a typical 30 day month, that's about 50 cents per day.
So essentially HTC saved you $1.
A buck! One dollar! That's it? For being a customer for 2 years? A bit more than a tenth of a cent per day. Sweet dude! :aok
With that return rate, you might just be competitive with Airhead's baseball card retirement collection. :rofl
Well, I reckon it beats paying even after you've cancelled your account, some some other online flight sims. :)

Westy, you didn't read my entire reply, did ya? (Ignoring the double word typo, heh) So yes indeed, you need to think of something more original. :)
Then again, what do I know. I born and raised in the land of "the most expensive multiplayer game on the internet". Two free days of WB would gain you almost $1.70. Dig around in the couch cushions and you'd end up with enough coinage for two items off of McDonalds Dollar menu.
Or you could by a couple bottles of cheap beer. One for me, one for nopoop.

AW was several dollars an hour back in the day. When I first started messing around internet gaming it was $5 per hour. Man I dont miss those monthly charges of several hundred dollars.
I dont believe WB was every the most expensive. ;) Certainly it wasnt the bargin we have today.

How about "current" online games, then? :) That's kinda what I meant but you are correct.
My WB Visa bills were often > $200 a month. :eek:
However, at $25 a month, WB has to be one of the most expensive games currently out there, if not #1. I have no data to back that up, but I sure can't think of any games that cost more than that out there today... (I'd love to hear about more expensive games.)

Does it strike you odd at all that you use HTC's nickle to use this forum to take a jab at the fact that they did something above-and-beyond for one of their' customers?

I got $100 from a hotel once. That will buy nopoop and I many beers, and it doesn't have to be cheap stuff, either.
And I'm not taking a jab at HT for providing excellent customer service. It is the customers reaction that I thought was funny, but hey, he's happy so nothing else really matters, not even my worthless opinion.
As far as HT's nickel... I reckon I paid for a couple months that I did not fly AH, so I got a couple more nickel-posts coming. Stay tuned. :)
