Title: Muppet Chogs
Post by: Citabria on November 02, 2003, 11:49:12 AM
Muppet Chogs (http://www.most-wanted.org/downloads/AH%20Films/muppet%20chogs.ahf)

had this posted in our squad forum thought I'd share with anyone interested.

it starts slow with 4 chogs in formation climbing out with some light furballing over a carrier then gets damn good when the 4 of us fly to an enemy base.

the escape is my favorite part when we were 4 line abreast and shooting cons off our 6s while still traveling away from a hoard of enemies :D

it wasfun escaping with all 4 planes intact, that so rarely happens.

we ended up landing a combined total of around 30 somthing kills :D

Kappa, that move on the spitfire was phat, I saw you really hit the flaps, was that for extra lift or to turn? That spit would have ate me up.

hehe thanks... I'll have to watch the film now.. Was a great trip though. AoM does such things often, too bad we dont film all the time.. hehe  I'm usually full flaps when real slow for added stability sixpence. So I guess the answer to your question would be ya...  for both.   8)

It's the part of the film where you turn back after faking leaving. I believe it was a spit5 no less.

13- Do not punt topics. Punting would be making a non-substantive post for the express purpose of bring the thread to the top of the thread list.

my post wasnt a punt.. while u guys are bringing up rules:

6- Members are asked to not act as "back seat moderators". Issues with any breach of rules should be brought to HTC's attention via email at support@hitechcreations.com.

just thought i should point it out.. wannabe mods.

heh the elder days of aces high for there are none now left who remember.

but I even remember this mission of four chogs after all this time but only after I was reminded of it.

the most amazing part was surviving with all 4 corsairs intact even after an escape with a large pissed off enemy force determined to get vengence for 30 deaths :D

I miss those days. I miss the old pizza. I miss night time in the MA. I miss having fuel burn set lower. Most of all I miss teh sheep.
I loved going on long missions like that. Now days you are lucky if your mission last a total of 40 mins. I remember flying missions in my P-51 that were almost two hours long. Flying escort for a deep HQ bombing raid on Trin. You would fly the whole mission hands on. When you landed your palms were sweaty and you would be trimbling slightly. You would spend 20 mins in the tower re-calling the mission to your fellow squadies as if they were not even there. Telling them how you smoked two 163s..Damn good times.
I am glad this thread was brought back to life. It brought back good times in AH. Thanks.
