After a year of guessing and outguessing his foe, French President Tarmac has finally locked up the Adriatic for France. Although he gains no builds this year, he has solidified his front.

Smooth sailing may not be in the cards for the French navy, however, as Sultan Crabofix has aquired 2 builds this year, and is sure to build at least one fleet.

In the North, Germany and the Austrian band of irregulars in Warsaw continue to chip away at Russia's empire. Galicia is the victim this season. Tsar fd-ski must remove a unit this winter, so the army in the Ukraine may have to be sacrificed. I would be surprised to see the Tsar disband any other unit. Kaiser Sandman gains a build this year, and will surely build an army in Munich.

Russia and Turkey are far from beaten at this point, but the Sultan is in a much better defensive position than is the Tsar. If the two allies work together, they may be able to stave off defeat for a few years.

Ownership of supply centers:

Austria:    Warsaw.
France:     Belgium, Brest, Liverpool, Marseilles, Naples, Norway, Paris,
            Portugal, Rome, Spain, Tunis, Venice.
Germany:    Berlin, Denmark, Edinburgh, Holland, Kiel, London, Moscow,
            Munich, St Petersburg, Sweden.
Russia:     Budapest, Rumania, Sevastopol, Vienna.
Turkey:     Ankara, Bulgaria, Constantinople, Greece, Serbia, Smyrna,
            Trieste.

Austria:     1 Supply center,   1 Unit:   Builds   0 units.
France:     12 Supply centers, 12 Units:  Builds   0 units.
Germany:    10 Supply centers,  9 Units:  Builds   1 unit.
Russia:      4 Supply centers,  5 Units:  Removes  1 unit.
Turkey:      7 Supply centers,  5 Units:  Builds   2 units.
