I have a Diamond MX300 Aureal based sound card I don't need anymore. If anyone wants to take it off my hands they can have it. Or if anyone knows of someone in need of some hardware to build a backup system let me know. The card was the only card I have had since 1999 and it worked great till I sold the system it went with to a co-worker.

Careful!
Aureal is outta bizness, and WinXP doesn't officially support aureal cards - it may or may not work with it.

I've had it working in WinXP since XP first came out. You have to run a utility once to setup the board but it works. Try looking at http://www.vortexofsound.com for all the tweaks and drivers they are working on for the older cards.
Arlo if you want it you can have it. I didn't think you were wanting to upgrade now though. :lol :p

WOW I went there a few weeks ago and all was fine. I guess they finally decided to close it down after 2-3 years of hard work.

Thanks anyway Reschke. I had not been there in over a year as the last Aureal update worked fine and using Win98Se I did not need to update anything anymore. BUT! FWIW I did find another page that could help:
