i keep getting a white screen when i start ah up
 
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused:

What kind of video card do you have, and please be detailed?

i have a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 with latest drivers and Directx 9.0b

i've never had this problem before i updated the drivers

the white screen shows the top of rings of the clipboard and a green rectangle is the top left

thats your problem its the drivers

the 45.xx dont work with the mx cards ... (they work one day then fail the next ) It happened to me on 3 pc's with mx cards

you need to roll them back to the 30.xx   30.82 i believe
beware of the 42.xx drivers some work some dont

Beshure you reinstall direct X  when your done with the drivers .

Depending on your OS...

30.82 XP/2k (http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/30.82/30.82_winxp.exe)

30.82 Win9x/me (http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/30.82/30.82_win9x.exe)

I followed the link for XP. The install fails with an error.

What would be the best way to install the driver?
