I have been reading this board and have come to the conclusion that most of you prefer bickering to the intelligent exchange of ideas.
Thought of trying this sim out but man, I don't think I can handle this childish attitude.
Is it always like this or have I just arrived at that time of the month?

ananias...this board is half the fun of AH, relax and enjoy it, laze will complain about the bombers ruining the "fun ' of the furballers, the LW guys will say the german planes were really better than the allies and are "undermodeled" , others complain about uber guns ,GV's you can't kill, etc etc etc , the list go on forever.

So you took the time to post, your first post I should add, just to tell us how much better you are than us?
I mean, I suppose we could be all caring and loving and smoke dope and walk around without taking showers holding each other's hands singing "we are the world"....
Or we can be ourselves, argue, play the game and have fun.
Hmm, 2nd option sounds better to me.

Anyone coming to a game community as a new member and starting to make wild claims about knowing it all and actually starting to teach the guy who coded the game he wants to play, can expect to be murdered on the ubb.
And I would be totally amazed if that didn't happen - anywhere.
It shows a definate lack of self criticism and judgement.
As many times before, the old saying goes: You have to earn the respect of the rest of the community to start making claims.

Hmmm, well I was waiting with baited breath for a better class of AH warrior <sigh> but alas! There aint none!
I shall now go back to playing with my scale model of the Russian front and blow up Nazi Tiger Tanks with my IL2 tank busters and making cannon sounds and engine noises.
Hmmmpf! I wonder if I can do the same thing in the MA to those verdamnt Kinigits :D

Ananias - apologies m8. Had no intention or wish to annoy anyone or cause them not to play Aces High. Basically i've been mucking around, pulling some legs, messing about.
I did'nt think anyone really took it seriously, was all in fun. I actually love Aces High, been flying it for quite some time, graphics are awesome, flight model is great. Basically I just applied a negative to all the positives I saw in the game.
So don't leave, and don't take any negative comments on this UBB personally either. The games great and the community is fun.
As many people stated during all the argument, it was a blatant troll. Really don't understand why nobody listened to them. I guess humanity has a irristable desire for conflict.

If nobody took it seriously, there wouldn't have been that much response. It's just stupid if you ask me. Why do otherwise smart people forward me stupid email hoaxes and chain letters? Beats me, but it's the same reason they fall for trolls. Trolling is neither clever nor an artform because it doesn't require one to be either of the above. Hemingway never wrote about hunting dodo birds.

I fall for trolls because I choose to try to be helpful, even in situations I should probably avoid. Part of that decision means that I have to take the chance I could be wrong about a person's intentions. I was wrong about Pyemia, but I would do it again nonetheless.

Being helpful is good and the benefit of the doubt should be given when your intent is to help. But if one's intent is not to help, they're just another mindless participant is a virtual car pile-up. To what purpose that serves, I don't know.

Perhaps one might troll simply to pass the time. Maybe just to interact on a different level? Perhaps just for kicks? Ahhh...one might troll to best his peers or just for no reason at all?
What a vast representation of humanity we have before us. Happy people, sad people, bored people, hateful people, simple people and yes, even powerful people. All attempting, in one form or another, to express their views and gain status in one form or another.

Ewwwww did'nt realise I was actually really annoying people. I'm kindof new to the internet, this was my first troll posting and just wanted to have some fun with you people. I didn't realise people take them so seriously. I also thought that I would be warned by either Hitech or Pyro if it was inappropriate for me to make these posts.
I did'nt do it to be smart or intelligent (seems thats mostly genetics anyway) was simply bored I suppose. Plus I love practical jokes. Perhaps I'm an idiot.
I don't have another account so to speak, basically I had some trouble with my credit card and my other account became locked.
I do honestly apologize if I upset anyone and hope you guys don't judge me purely by my recent posts.
If it makes you feel any better, i now feel like and idiot :D
