Title: Wingman extreme 3cd pro question..

Cant get the buttons  8-12 to work.  Any ideas?  I have the proper stick installed and it is visible and selected in the JS setup window.

I just loaded a Logitech Freedom 2.4 and could not get buttons 9 and 10 to map. They worked as far as the profiler was concerned but would not map. I used a utility at the Logitech website that clears all other device drivers. it worked so I can assume my Microsoft Sidewinder drivers were in conflict with the Logitech device drivers. You might try this .

Thanx, that sounds wogical, since I had a extreme digital w  7 buttons before.:)

  I had this problem also, here is how you resolve it.  Go to joystick setup in the game.  Go to where you select the control type (mouse, joystick, etc.) On the right side of the screen is the list of all the buttons on your stick, and an icon that says "SET ALL INPUTS"  Hit this button.  Because you loaded a new stick, AH has to recognize each button, but only does so when you tell it to do so.  It took me a bit, but finally got it.  Sorry, I cannot provide screenshots to help, but I am at work right now.

Go to setup and go to joystick settings (not mapping) only 8 buttons are assinged by default. assign button 9 to button 9, button 10 to button 10 ect...  them go to stick mapping and assign their functions.

Thanks, Maniacal81st, I had the same problem and your answer solved it perfectly.  Ain't this forum wonderful?  Somebody has the answer for everything.
