Post by: Lizard3 on November 10, 2003, 07:41:05 AM
I have a dead Maxtor drive and was wondering if any kind souls out there had an unused drive they'd like to sell me for real cheep. I need some parts off of it.

I need:
Maxtor 40GB ATA100 7200rpm. Model # is 5T040H4.

Thanks.

why not just buy a new one?

Officedepot.com

Add the Maxtor 80GB 8MB Cache Drive at $140, but update your cart to in-store pickup to drop the price to $100 - $15 off $75 coupon code 92923224 [Exp 12/31] - $20 rebate [Exp 11/15] with UPC Copy - $30 rebate [Exp 11/15] = $35 in-store. [BizRate]

Did that, fity nine dolla, best buy.

There's stuff on there I'd like to have. I don't mind workin on it, I like workin on stuff like that. Internals should be ok, it the board that attaches to the drive I'm after. And no, I don't have broadband so that porn is irreplacable...:D  Actually, its some digital pics I didn't back up and erased from the camera card as well as some other odds and ends. ALL my address's etc. etc.
