This Wednesday's Snapshot"Real Trouble" (http://www.gremlinsden.com/events/snapshot.asp?snapshot_id=56) depicts allied
bomber operations and subsequent luftwaffe interceptions over the skies of Wiesbaden Germany in August of 1944.
Walkons and squads alike are welcome!
Roll time is 10:00 pm est in the SEA but please be early so we can get underway on time. Please check the MOTD for last minute details.

Historical Background:
In its struggle to blunt the Allies' effective attacks on its communications and production of petroleum and weapons, the Luftwaffe created a special bomber-destroying unit (Gefechtsverband) made up of heavily armed and armored Fw190A8 "Sturmbocks", escorted by the high-performance Bf109G10. On 15 August 1944, the 358th Squadron, 303rd Bomb Group based at Molesworth, England, became the object of this unit's attention on the return flight from its target-the Luftwaffe airfield at Weisbaden, Germany.
