The dot way off in the distance is a Spitfire that is about to make a strafing run on the bridge. The German paratrooper guarding it thinks he hears something but he's not sure where.

Yeah, yeah .. I know .... doppler affect and all that. Maybe the guard is fixated on one of the Remagden (sp?) babes.

Belgium 1940. German paratroopers captured bridges behind enemy lines. I dont remember what was name of these bridges...

Next target was eben emael.
