Story at http://www.wave3.com/Global/story.asp?S=1520643&nav=0RZEJ3NH
Be sure to click the video that shows how he put his chopper in the middle of a boat show event, risking people's lives...then took off, comes back in a truck and tries to pick a fight back in Sept
This Darwin wanna be then put his chopper in the drink a few days ago...all those folks he pissed off our giving the FAA oodles of video evidence and statements to this guys flying behavior.
Pretty sure bet he's going to remain a pedestrian now.

hes lucky he didnt become a darwin flying like that

The video is under the link "Choppy Pilot Has Reckless Past" and shows some footage of him bringing his chopper in hot over the water, flaring in front of a sailboat, and setting it down right on the edge of the seawall. I'm surprised he didn't (a) clip a rigging line or mast; (b) fall over the edge of the seawall; or (c) decaptitate a bystander.
I didn't see the whole thing, but what I saw looked interesting.

"Ironically, if Powell survives, they say that Powell may change his ways after this accident. "
Sure.

 , that was way to close, that pilot should be put in jail for his actions, let alone get everything from his Pilots License to his Drivers LIcense stripped cause if he's like that in a helicopter whats he like in a truck?

That guy is a reckless antihero
A misunderstood poet. Men hate him but secretly want to be him, women think they can change him.
A hopeless romantic from an age of adventure long past...

Obviously he had no idea what responsibility means.
Licenses arent only given to prove the person knows how to fly.
-
I'm very glad that Orson Wells was able to come back from the dead to file the report.

That's what Clinton said.

That chopper is in my town! I've seen that guy flying around quite a bit.
Did you all get to see the whole video? After he landed at the art show (it was at a river-side restaraunt), he got into a fight with one of the people there. The video on the news channel showed the chopper pilot in a head-lock getting pulled onto the ground by an angry patron.

I love you Animal.

Someone in Ohio should find his email address, we want to invite him to our squad.
On a related note, a few months ago two guys stole a helicopter from a local airport, flew into the federal prison and escaped with two prisoners.
They crash-landed two miles away, and the police was waiting on the ground.
This was not an outlandish incident here in PR.
