Need more info!!!
Gun's? caliber? ROF? Ammo load?
Speed? Gears?
Damage model? (IE tougher than M16 but not as tough as panzer???)
Come on someone must know!
BTW, this has been a GREAT week to be an AH pilot! Bring it on HTC! :)

heard it has a Bose stereo :)

Looks like Supafly could make a living outa drawing these ;)
Looks nice, can we have a big aiming sign on top , please ?

I belive it is the M8 Utility car Chass with a 40mm (not 100% sure) and the top gun is naturally an M2 50 cal heavy machine gun. If I'm correct it can go about 40 mph which means it can escort M3/M16 to airfields, plus it has the gun power to damage/disable FPs. But like I said I'm not 100% sure it's right

OK I think I found the information. (got it from CM lol) Anyway its the M8 Greyhound. It's main gun is a 37mm, with coax machine gun. (303 I think) Top gun is a M2 .50 Cal. It has 360 firing arc. The neat thing is, that it can go 55 mph, which will make it the fastest GV we have.

Actually, it does 60 mph on the highway. :)

JABO is getting more and more interesting. That's one fine looking ride you have there Superfly!!! I'll bet it is responsive too (For avoiding incoming). If it gets a flat will it still continue to move (albeit at a much lower speed)? Cool, none the less.
-
37mm ? :D Another OSTY for low level flying targets :)
-
50mph cross country
60mph highway, or paved roads
25 mpg city
36 mpg Highway
Mileage may differ due to driving conditions/habits and presence of straffing aircraft.
Optional, Bose CD/DVD player and Leather interior.
-
I won't drive it unless they add heated seats and at least 2 cupholders! :D
(I'm guessing the 37mm is an AT weapon and can't be elevated high enough to shoot at aircraft??? )
-
37mm is kind of a weak AT weapon. Good be used as both tough, destryo m3.
-
Looks nice.
A fast vehicle at last! :D

I agree on cupholders.... Heated seats will be necessary after we rercieve some winter action (maybe some winter russian front?).
But I disagree on the gun! IMO every gun can be elevated high enough to be used as antiaircraft weapon... :) I like to shoot down incoming planes from Panzer's Main gun using HE shells... Thats what I call 1 ping kills! :D

The 37mm is manually loaded weapon, but was capable or fairly high-angle fire (I think something like 60deg). ROF should be somewhere around 25rpm. Don't expect to take down many planes with this one. The M2 is your better bet.
37mm fires HE and AP, or APBCR. Could likely take AA guns, Osties and M16/M3's. Can take a PzIV from the rear or very close in the sides (the PzIV wasn't well armored for '44/45, with 50-80mm in the turret and front).
Armor is thin, mostly around 16mm.
It was, and will probably act like, armored cav.

The tires should be vulnerable to cannon fire no?
-
Already found several scale "issues" with it :)

cc Jigster, unacceptable, barely looks like an M8....... :D
HTC what about an M20, it be easy as hell to do now and could be used as a light transport of some sort?
