Has anybody tried this game? Is it worth it?

Looks interesting...reviews?

1.2 GB?????
AHH HAHAHA HAHAHA HAHAH AHA AHAHA
That'll take me 3 weeks to download on dial up. :D

I beta tested Earth and Beyond and wasn't impressed. This appears to be an add on?
-
Beta tested as well. Not much content there to begin with, but I'm sure they've added loads.
New content would only hold me for about 2 weeks... after that it's endless mining and trade runs.... boredom.

Ive tried Earth and Beyond about a month ago on a 2 week trial, and found this game to be quite BORING.. IMO not worth the Monthly Subscription or the 1.2 GB download.
-
yea I played this game for less than a month befor I lost intrest. There's some cool things if your a sci fi buff but other than that it pretty much sucks chode

Did EVE change any since the end of beta and Pay-to-play began? Has it evolved at all? Have any serious features been added because that was one boring game of mining.
That plus the arcade 3rd person view, inability to land anywhere to exit your craft, ultra-simplistic point&click combat, lack of any reward for free space exploring and having no consquence for traveling beyond your factions borders got old REAL fast.
