Hi all,
Here is the up coming SSO.
Please side preferance here. This will start a week on Sunday November 30th.
==============================================
OPERATION TORCH
BACKGROUND:
In November of 1942, the Rommel's Afrika Korps was pushed to Cirenaica (Libya) by the 8th British Army after the battle of El Alemein. Then the Allies launch the Operation "Torch", the invasion of Morocco and Algeria, to establish a base to prevent the Axis from crossing the Mediterranean and as strategic position for eventual attacks against southern Europe, at the same time they cornered the Afrika Korps and all the Axis forces in North Africa
On November 8, three task forces begin landing troops in North Africa. The Western Task Force, commanded by Gen. George Patton, lands on a 200-mile front between Safi and Port Lyautey. Within two days, the Americans have secured their beachheads at Casablanca and Port Lyautey. The Center Task Force lands near Oran. The landings do not go well, but the task force establishes a secure beachhead and captures the airfield at Tafaraiu by nightfall; American-piloted Spitfires begin flying sorties from the airfield the next day.
The Eastern Task Force lands at Algiers, and the town is quickly captured. By November 15, there are 10,000 German troops in Tunisia and 100 combat planes. The Germans use established French airfields with all-weather runways; the Allies must use temporary runways that are farther from the front. Within days there is serious combat.

Lentolaivue 32 Axis, please!
We have practiced very much with C-202 in current Libya CT setup, so we can fly mostly with them. Lentolaivue 34 pilots' are suberb with Bf 109 F4, but we can be italians this time and I promise that our results are better than in the last Squad ops! :D
We can also make Jabo attacks with Bf 110 C4 and bombing one frame with Ju88, if needed. We are very familiar with both aircrafts.
4 - 6 pilots at first, but maybe the numbers are rising to 7 - 10 after I have write to boys what is coming! I inform it later. :)
-
Allies, 4-6 for 880 Sqn.
Any chance of getting the Seafire as an option?
-
didnt the axis had fw190s in afrika in 1942?
not that im complaining ;)
-
None of the Fw190s we have saw active service before March 43. So they are not going to be used, sorry :)
The Spits will be fairly limited, so the seafire could be an option, but it will be an either or affair.
-
WOD where required, Allies if possible. 4-6 pilots.
-
we prefer allies , but we go where you need us
-
332nd Viking squadron request Allieds please, 8-14 pilots :aok

Squadvid, the ranges that can be used are;
