Kirin, you got any rumors (other than 2 weeks ;-) as to when the 1.2final will be released?
I have the leaked beta, but haven't downloaded the RCs (had 90% of RC02 when my PC locked up... and this is on a 56K).
The final patch needs to get out quick so the online wars can resume... or atleast so I can get back into playing the online war I'm involved in.

Oh - no way to get 1.2RC somewhere - like at work or something similar? I am sure a fellow countryman can burn you a CD... ;)
VOW has recently started (after months of beta) and they're using 1.2RC. VEF2 is my main arena but they're waiting for the final release so I am stuck with VOW since there is NO going back to 1.11.
So far 1.2RC is the best patch ever! 109s got their bite back and I16s are finally vulnerable to gunfire! The P51 is a real beauty to fly - not the mystical monster killer plane - but very well rounded and suitable for any type of combat situation. I cannot understand the whining on the boards.

I didn't hear anything from trustworthy sources but according to one of the campaign builders we are expecting 1.2final in the first week of December. Personally I would have guessed this or next week since they had such a tight schedule.
Looks like there are no real show stoppers in 1.2RC (except maybe the funny compass of the Ki84) so I hope we get an unaltered patch (=no giving in on the pony-whiners)
What arena you fly Wulfe?

I too was thinking this week or next since they said that last Thursday they would no longer accept bug reports.
Wish I could get it from somewhere, but right now I don't have any access to a high speed connection. Maybe I'll give it a shot again tonite to get RC02 (download while I sleep).
Everytime I visited the UBI boards to post a bug, or request something (asked for the pacific palm trees to be toned down, and to get rid of the engine sputtering sound when the engine has been shut down in flight or when the engine is killed) - I read some of the most asinine complaints.
"Oleg, the [something] no longer flies like it use to. Before it was deadly, now it sucks. Please fix it!"
I mean, really, if you want the plane to fly like how you think it should fly and not how it really flies - Crimson Skies is the game you want. (not you Kirin, but people who make the above kind of complaints)

Ever since the 1.2 leak, though, its been on standby until the RCs were released. Then it started back up (I think anyway), but I've been unable to fly in it since I'm still on the leaked beta.

DOH, was another Euro on the original JG2 that used it. Never mind, carry on. :)
