OK, with 1.05 incoming and perk system icoming too, I think it's time to perk the F4U1-C
Why?:
1-Is fast. It can catch my Fw190A5 at all altitudes.
2-It turns very well. It seems porked to me, too. So turn it down and perk it.
3-It has 4 friggin dweebish hispanoturbolasers.
4-It kills tanks like butter, my Fw190A can't, its not fair.
5-Is the reason for endless dweebish HOing.
6-Its arcadish.

Perk the Friggin F4U1-C. And give me the Fw190D9 to hunt down P51s.

The problem is, if the 1C is perked there'll probably be calls to perk the Typhoon.

The Hog C dweebs would never begin to fly the tiffie duma.
I think the Tiffie is the hardest AC to do good in (or atleast it was in the last ver).

May as well perk the Spit as well since it has the same cannons (only 2 though) and it can Boom and Zoom like the F4U, however it can also Turn and Burn, which the F4U can ONLY do with a couple of planes, so, PERK THE SPIT! :-/

Maniac, the Typhoon is a much changed beast in the new version.
Its actually not very hard to fly now, plus its the fastest thing in the planeset below 10k.
I would say it handles about like an A8 but with less crisp roll rate. And its very very fast. And did I mention it is fast? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
In my opinon its the best "dark horse" of 1.04, since the Yak-9U was "discovered" by the masses.

Funny you should say that, I've been flyin the YAK since before it's "discovery by the masses." and although it's a fine plane.....the REAL "dark horse" of AH is.............the La5.
I've gone H2H with SPINOUT YAK vs YAK in the MA many times, he is very good in it, and I although I'm no slouch in the YAK he is a bit better.
But one night I decided to show off a bit with SPINOUT, and grabbed an La5, we furballed a bit La5 vs YAK for a while, he was quite surprised by the La5's performance.
I was easily able to talk him into grabbing one for a couple of sorties 1v1, after he'd seen the moves one can make in an La5.
At the end of the night, SPINOUT was seriously contemplating a ride choice change.
My choice of grabbing a La5 started when Pongo was teasing me a bit about how hard it was to hit my YAK, so I grabbed the La5 to show I could do the same in it. Sadly I haven't had the opportunity to go up against Pongo in my La5 yet. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
