I was flying a spit changed to chase plane view did a dog roll and the controls kinda went wiggy I ended up going through the ground and crashing into something down below the ground

Win Xp Pro SP1 on NTFS
ATI Radeon 7200 64mb vid card
Asus K7M MB w/ 256mb RAM
Amd Athalon K7 750 Mhz CPU

You can replicate this my increasing the wind speed up to 127 - then try launch from an airfield.  Some airfields make you crash and die immediately on spawn but some other airfields/runway directions make the plane go beneath the ground but still running.

I've been able to fly beneath the ground and climb back out again a number of times.  Must just be some wonky collision settings.
