My Aces High Website (http://www.geocities.com/renoairvirtual) was bored today so i just made something with my website. am looking for some good links like picture hosing websites of this bbs, minid's and innomates Ah kill status webpage and that kinda stuff those links would be helpful.

There's something terribly wrong with that website. For some reason, the Aces High logo is attached to my mouse cursor.
Additionally, there don't seem to be any original graphics.
There's more to a website then recycling someone elses graphics. My websites suck, but... dang....

Pop ups? I didn't see even one when I visited the site. :) I have Google toolbar installed. It is handy, and includes a pretty decent popup blocker. Check it out (http://toolbar.google.com/) for yourself. Also, I do have to agree with Chairboy. B17Skull12... just a suggestion... not all cool looking web tricks are a great idea to use...dump the floating AH logo dood... just my humbly offered 2 cents.

Man, the only thing that could top that Aces High logo cursor for sheer irritation value would be a nice loud midi file playing when the page loads up. :p Other than that, nice page.

B17Skull12, fix some of the things suggested and you'll have a better website. Hope you have a fun time in making those. I had one of my own site concerning AH, before my web service provider went belly-up and I lost all material inside it.
Looking forward to rebuilding it, but it will take a lot of time and effort to get it up looking nicely. Hope ya enjoy making your site :) Mine's gonna be hell!

Aces High logo by mouse is now gone :) . will be updating to frame after i get some info from chairboy here

17 all you need is about 10 more animated giffs and you would have the most perfectly annoying website ever. JK:)
here's my .02$
1) Ditch the backround. Go with a solid color because it is so much esier to read the text
2) Yahoo page builder sux balz. Try front page if ya have it, that's what I use but I stay away from using there stupid extensions
3) Frames would definatly clean up the site I could help you out if ya need it or here is a good forum to check out
html forums (http://www.htmlforums.com)
the people there are real nice and extremly helpfull if your stuck trying to figure somthing out. Other than that have fun with it. I sit at home when i'm bored and big isle is the map of the week and just sit there and make templates.

I Don't know if it has been mentioned, but get rid of that stupid fading thing when you click on various parts of the webpage.

1)I've been getting mixed opinions about this some say it looks fine others says get backround color.
2)Nope i had to use page builder im wokring on some java stuff haven't gotten very far.
3) Im planing on doing that but i dont know how to make the whole page change not just the 1 frame this has been killing me for some time now.:mad: and i still cant figure it out!
BTW when will pizza map be here to save me from my death streak in 109G10?
BTW people who get pop ups get pop up stoper i never see anymore pop ups.

im not used to flying allied planes. I will mainly fly axis planes still tryin to learn those planes from shane.

the backround was just an opinion. In my experience text stands out way more if it is over a solid color and you could integrate someweres else.
as far as java I dont think that would matter if you use page builder or not but to each his own.
here's some help for the frames dont know if the code will show up in here
new.htm
_top will change the whole page
_self will change the same frame as the link
_blank will open a new window
_parent will change the whole page as well i think...(not sure bout this one)
and of course if you want to change one of the other frames the target will be the "framename" set on the main frame page.

no problem. I know when I started doing HTML in 98 (believe it was 2.0 back then) I taught myself all the language. I took a couple years off and now there's 4.0 Dhtml PHP CSS java XML and a whole shlew of others that I'm still learning.
