We will be heading to the warm waters of the Pacific in early 1943. The Slot terrain will be used and the planeset will be:

A tiny, little known island in the Pacific, called Guadalcanal played host to the first American offensive of the war. The six-month struggle resulted in the American’s securing a foothold in the region but at a terrible cost. Approximately 7,000 Americans and over 30,000 Japanese lost their lives.
From Henderson field the allies could begin the island hopping campaign in the Pacific. The first move took place in late February when troops landed in the Russel Islands, 55 miles north of Guadalcanal. Six weeks later Navy Seebee’s had completed an airfield and a Marine Air Group was in operation. The drive ‘up the slot’ was underway.
Please give me your side preference - and hopefully I can place you there.
We will be making a few changes in the coming week. Two new forums will be viewable by the FRAME CO's and their XO's. All Frame CO's can use it to plan strategy and exchange ideas. It is hoped that if real life issues get in the way of planning or cause a frame CO to miss the event that the other 2 CO's will be aware of the battle plans and can step in and run with it.
Every month the frame CO's and XO's will be changed with the new Squad-Ops.

Operations
Air defense of the US west coast, 1948–1952 and 1956–1968. During 1950, controlled a troop carrier squadron and from 6 May 1950 to 8 Jun 1951, provided training for elements of a troop carrier wing. From 9 Feb to 1 Jul 1968, operated a large detachment at Osan AB, South Korea, to provide air defense. Provided Air Defense Weapons Center operational and technical advice on air defense and tactics, 1981–1983. Tested and evaluated new air defense equipment, including use of the PQM–102 and QF–100, former operational aircraft modified to function as manned/unmanned drones. In Oct 1983, the wing assumed a new mission: qualification training of tactical aircrews. Beginning 1983, deployed T–33 and later, F–15 aircraft to USAF, Air National Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy air units to provide electronic countermeasures and dissimilar air combat training and to increase aircrew combat proficiency. Performed alert duties, 1988–1990, intercepting unidentified aircraft and assisting the US Drug Enforcement Agency in anti-smuggling efforts. Became host unit at Tyndall AFB on 1 Sep 1991.

325th Fighter Group
The 325th FG activated on 3 August 1942 at Mitchel Field, NY. At the end of August, they moved to Hillsgrove (Providence), RI, and began training for overseas combat. The 317th, 318th, and 319th Fighter Squadrons, were assigned to the group. In early January 1943, the group received orders for a permanent change of station to Langley Field, Virginia.
While at Langley, the Group received new model P-40s and trained to launch their planes from a Naval aircraft carrier. On the 7th of January, pilots flew their planes to the Naval Air Station, at Norfolk. They taxied their planes through the streets, with the aid of "wing walkers", to the USS RANGER, where naval personnel hoisted them on deck. The Group embarked for North Africa on 8 Jan, arriving off the coast of Casablanca late on the 18th.
In the early morning hours of the next day, the pilots launched their Warhawks, and flew to their first overseas station, Tafaraoui, Algeria. The rest became history. The 325th achieved one of the AAF’s most impressive combat records during World War II.
They flew all of the Army Air Forces primary fighters, during the war: the P-40 Warhawk, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. Twenty-seven of their pilots achieved Ace status (five or more aerial victories). They flew over 550 missions, achieved over 500 aerial victories and received Distinguished Unit Citations for two of them. The Group also achieved notariety as the first USAAF fighter unit to fly into Russia, on the first "shuttle mission" of the war, in 1944.
In October 1945, the group inactivated, but was activated once again, for the Korean War. The unit underwent successive activations, inactivations, and redesignations. Today the 325th designation belongs to the 325th Fighter Wing, at Tyndall AFB, FL. Under Air Force tradition, the history and lineage of the original 325th FG has been "bestowed" on today’s active wing.

Just a thought:
Each squad involved in Tour of Duty has a represntative assigned.
Would it be possible for these personnel to be included in there respective side forum. That way the side CO for that frame would be able to communicate with and evaluate his forces so as to assign them in there area of expertice. It would also give the CO's for the future frames an incite as to what there resources will be and in effect help them plan strategies.

That is something I have not even thought about. I was thinking smaller is better and wanted to get a feel for how the forum is used.
We'll just go with the FRAME CO's and their respective XO's for the following squad-op. From there we can evaluate and adjust if necessry.
