Today some lame oscar moderator kept sending me this little boxes and then he muted me. Just cause i was telling a guy that he HOed me. What gives? He wouldn't even tell me his name. I pay my $15 a month i demand to know who it is. Who the hell does this dweeb thing he is?

Rude, do you only do this on Wednsday?

I think it would be nice to make it a Friday thing.. kind of like give people a good solid week of whining before you pick the winner. Afterall, Saturday and Sunday don't have much whining.

Most of them left when Gore lost the election (well, after the Supreme Court process anyway...)  ;)

Rude please step down as judge of whine of the week contest . There were many many better whines than this one .

Besides I wouldn't call a paying customer being angry about being muted becuase the censor didn't like his opinion a whiner .

Suave read it again.  It wasn't a censor.  The guy triggered the auto-profanity-mute and thought it was a human doing it.  It's an all-time classic.  He apologized for the whole thing tough, so if he's reading this here's a <S>!

I thought so too, Hornet, but you do have to admit the beautifully unfocused rage vented by MrRipley does have a sort of anarchic quality. Soviet's "I'm paying fifteen big ones, I should be able to say whatever I like" stance is also a classic. Still, no denying the staying power of a classic LW hijack.
